FBG Wk 8 Prelim Cheatsheet (1 Viewer)

I know it's a prelim list and they rush get something out, but I was a little surprised at the following:

RB

T.Jones vs KC - sitting outside the top 10 RBs when he's playing the Chefs this wkend?

If anything THIS is the wkend he'll post big numbers (I've now jinxed him)

TE

Shockey is listed at TE6?.........when he's been hurt and now talking about not playing at all?

Defense:

KC def listed as a top 5 def?............Are you kidding me? 402 yds/game (31st) I know the NYJ OL might give up a couple of sacks and Favre might throw an INT, but I suspect NYJ to run, run, and run some more.

Also, I thought WAS listed in the mid-teens was too low when they are playing the Lions this wkend.

And Philly def is listed outside the Top 20? They've had an extra wk to prepare for ATL and they are giving up <100 yds rushing per game and tied for #2 in the league for sacks.

FBG Wk 8 Prelim Cheatsheet, Some ??????

It is preliminary. I am assuming as we near the weekend we will see some movement, as per the usual. These rankings are fluid,IMO.

The preliminaries are starting to seem REALLY preliminary. They changed a lot last week as the week went on.

Antonio Bryant #29 seem a bit low. TB play Dallas.

 

[Butters]

I can see the Shockey rating insomuch as Reggie is out and the shorter passes may flow to the TE. He had five catches for 50 last week, so 4 for 44 doesn't seem out of line. The TE position is so clustered that a catch here and a fumble there (looking at you last week, Shockey) turns a guy from Top 5 to 20-something on a given week.

That said, I will probably go against that view and start Carlson (Dodds #13) over Shockey (Dodds #6).

Lendale White not in the Top 20 RBs? And Chris Brown in the Top 10? Cmon! This should be reversed. Pencil Lendale in for at least 2 TD vs Indi.

Wash D should be in top 5. I never really agree with alot of the D rankings on Footballguys.
