What is even funnier is that I lost all of my 50/50s, but I should hold on to win all of my double and triple ups. So that makes up for it at least. It looks like I will break even for the week, which I am definitely grateful for. (playing for the fun and not looking to break the bank, kind of like during the poker boom)Dodds also recommended Foles and Gonzo. You take shots on players based on matchups, you win some you lose some.I went 0-5 in 50/50s yesterday, mainly due to Foles, Gonzo and Hilton. Should have followed Dodds lead and jumped on Douglas

Despite heavy reliance on Foles, Wayne, and Hilton, finished up 63%! Won 2xTriples, a Quintuple, a 50/50. It's no 700% return (wow!) but I'll take it.

I didn't play much this weekend as I was out of town... ended up slightly down, just $15.
I will probably get back on the "all in" train this weekend, but no players are really jumping off the monitor at me yet, except 1. Garcon against Denver. Skins will have to pass, Denver D has ceded good days to most WRs... he is a steal at his price.

I was all excited for the NYG @ PHI - but now I don't trust any of the players involved to find their way to the stadium w/o supervision.
With DAL @ DET - not sure which version of which team will actually show up to play.

Surprising stat on the Giants D. In order, they have stuffed the following RBs: Charles, McCoy, Forte, Peterson. Held them combined under 3 yards a carry. So I'll avoid McCoy this weekend and you guys should do the opposite.

Well I got cold feet with Harry Douglas in too many line ups, so I decided to pull him out of about 20 lineups Sunday morning. Still had him in about 15. You would think that would have killed my week, but I replaced him with Boykin by "downgrading" from the KC Def to Carolina in most of these. Played about 60 contests:

Don't see any cheap QBs I like this week. KC and Seattle defenses look like gold but will cost you. A couple of really good tight end values too.

I dont like any of the cheap QBs much, if I have to I will use Thad.
Using NO D is a mistake I think. Bills not giving up many sacks or turnovers, relying a lot on great running game and have scored 20 in every contest against tough Ds.
Not saying for a second Bills will keep this game close.

I would like to say it was skill, but we all know the truth. I think I hit the perfect storm....I was lucky to avoid the injuries and I was heavy on guys who had good days. I only had one tourney where I was above 180....off the top of my head, my next highest score was in the low 150's (twice) followed by 3 or 4 in the 140's. Sores were down this week. The injuries to key people early in games to go with some bad games by other highly owned players is the reason for this.....I think anyways. If this was a normal week, I would have placed in 3.....maybe 5 if I got lucky. Usually you need to be in the high 140's to be in the money.....this week, you only needed to be in the 130s. The top 10-20 were still high scores....but it dropped off quickly after that.
So the one thing I did right, was being heavy on Gore, Forte, Green, Reed, and the Panthers with a little sprinkling of other players who had decent days.....the other thing I did right was to enter a boat load of contests and get lucky that the tournaments had low scores.
No secret formula here....just the perfect storm.
Just curious if any other guys wanted to throw together like a facebook page or something where we share ideas? Not sure if that's up anyone's alley or not. I'm always happy to share my strategies with others, just not as much ahead of time with 1000's of viewers. A small number though, chances are we wouldn't be in ALL the same contests.
Just a thought. This is my first season playing Fanduel and I enjoy it MUCH more than fantasy football. I started with my first $20 deposit and have turned it into $200+ playing just small stakes games.

Boy it's tough to fit Peyton into a lineup. I'm not getting any warm fuzzy feelings with any lineups yet. Need more research this week I guess. Not liking any dirt cheap players for the first time this year. Throwing together a lot of Glennon/VJax combos. Weak secondary and lack of running game.
I also like Shorts. He has 10+ targets every game and only $6100. Blackmon should be getting the main coverage vs. SF.
Since there's no point of going conservative in tournies and gotta boom/bust, I'll be trying some Ivory teams.

So looks like everybody has cooled on Garcon with the emergence of Reed. I'm putting him in some this week. I can't imagine a bad day vs Denver. The Glennon to V-Jax is in one lineup. Really liking Reed at TE, so since I like Reed and Garcon, I guess I may as well say I like RG III.

Just put up $195 for Thursday games, fading yet again with one minor exception, one team has Carolina D. Also trying out my first $109 50/50 league. Of the ten teams, just one has triple digit wins, and 5 have less than 20 wins

I lost a few because of Foles, and won every matchup that I used Freeman. Surprisingly the ammount saved buying Freeman($5k) made it easy to build a monster team that included Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles, Dez Bryant, and Jordan Cameron, as well as the cheapies I started that paid off, Harry Douglas, Boykin and Carolina D.I overspent on Prater, and if I had picked another kicker I would have placed higher. All in all it was a good week for me, I placed 3 times in the sunday bomb (one for $1000) as well as won some double/triple/quintuple ups.

So far, I've mostly been picking and choosing my H2H opponents each week, but that can be tedious at times. I'm thinking of posting some H2Hs for others to select.
For any of you that have posted H2Hs for others to select, did your opponents end up being mostly beginners or experienced players?

I honestly haven't tried, but I was able to find an ATM (my record against him is 11-1)that I have been hitting up every week since week 2 for my H2H action lol!

It's a mix of both. I think in week 6 condia grabbed like 20 of my H2Hs, lol. It was kind of silly, we were going up against each other with a bunch of different lineups, not sure who "won" other than Fanduel collecting the rake. I've been winning at such a great clip that I haven't really sat down to delve into the details of who I've been facing, etc. I'm just trying to get as much action as I can handle each week for now.
Edit: Wow, just looked it up - condia took 17 of my H2Hs in week 6. I won 15 of them. He didn't take any of mine last week.
