FFA Note - Political Forum Now It's Own Forum (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

Quick note. @Hankmoody brought up a good point about how it was confusing with the "start new topic" button for the Shark Pool close to the Assistant Coach subforum words. Unfortunately Invision doesn't give much room for tweaking there.

So I asked Keith to move things back to the old way. The Assistant Coach will now be it's own stand alone forum the way it used to be. And the Political Forum will now be it's own stand alone forum. And hopefully that'll clear up any confusion on starting new topics. I like it this way better as it's more clean.

Thanks.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if tens of voices suddenly cried out in terror and whataboutism and were suddenly silenced. I fear something wonderful has happened.

Wow, this came completely out of nowhere.  You're taking this community and destroying it, Joe.  First it was images, then it was the yoga pants, and now the political forum has moved up the list of forums by about a centimeter? I mean come on.  Where is the line being drawn on this slippery slope you've created?  What happened to free speech?

Did I cover all of the usual complaints there?

I'm sure there will be more Buddy.

I love how the consensus here is that its a good change, and if you read the exact same thread in the PF, the consensus is that it is terrible.

It's like the people who want to force politics into sports and everything else. These same people want to force their subforum on the rest of the forum.  Kudos for keeping it tucked away.

I had to check it out and yep. Crazies over there.

Honestly, using subforums was a bad design. I guess the IDP assistant coach forum makes sense but hardly anyone goes there.

applaud this guy - perfect point for any purpose though it has to do with Roseanne Barr.

Freedom of speech isn't freedom from repercussions. That's why everyone who works retail doesn't tell you to go #### yourself.

Step 1 - take all the obnoxious posters and give them their own subforum.

Step 2 - Remove subforum from FFA.

Step 3 - Move said subforum to fftoday.
