**FFA POKER** (2 Viewers)

Yup, I haven't figured out what the deal is honestly. I was crushing in the first two weeks (as many here witnessed). Thousands in winnings. In the past week or so, I've taken a crushing. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, so it's probably just running cold, but I've taken some ferocious beats. There are still plenty of bad players at the higher stakes tables, but as Cav says there are definitely a few wolves feasting. Mostly I've found they are just rock players. They play standard, safe, by the book, and crush on big hands.

Anyway, again, I don't think anything is "rigged" or otherwise; I still think there are some very soft players, but there are definitely a handful of really good players. Beware.
Yeah. Definitely some fishy plays in my limited experience there, but a lot of solid players as well. Goes back to the conversation we had where you mentioned hating shortstacks. IMO typically in a 5-10NL game the guys who buy-in for a short stack are often playing above their heads and making mistakes. The guys who buy-in for max (or exploit the reload bug and buy-in for more than max) are often solid players.

I don't think there is anything fishy going on. 6Max tables can just be extremely volatile. At those limits playing in a game like that I think you would need a bankroll close to 50k to handle the variance.

The sharks are likely cleaning out the fish. Oats was lucky and get in on the ground floor. But the fish are probably drying up already. Until it becomes an open site, it's likely only going to get tougher.

On such a bad bender at this site. Infuriating beats, but I can't stop depositing. I just got into a pot worth about $4k with 22, flop 247 mix, get two callers AA and 99, and of course the river hits a 9. Makes my blood boil. This game is so, so awful.

Sounds like the same exact best essentially I took live last night. Posted the hand in the wagering thread.

Vomit inducing.

Just makes me want to stop playing. And for a moment makes me start to see the genius of Ham and his California Hold Em.

Are you playing 5/10 NL?

Just lost a huge stack with a boat to quads on the river. I'm so tired of poker lately, I really need to stop playing. Awful awful run.
if i email the guy can i get set up before i deposit? i want to check out the site and watch to see how the action is before i put money on.

also, that is brutal. in all the hands i've played i think that's happened once to me.
:oldunsure: I just had the same happen to me yesterday, flopped boat taken down by flopped quads. Unreal...
In my case I had TT. I reraise big, villain calls. Flop was T7X. He has 67o. Turn 7, makes my boat. River another 7 makes his quads. And there goes a stack of 1700,in a flash....
Ouch, that's ####### brutal...

so I was thinking of playing the 10k tourney that starts at 5 pm. whats add-ons: option at the first break? What can you add on ?

It's a rebuy tournament. So if you bust you can rebuy back in for the initial fee. At the break you can also spend another buyin to add more chips to your stack.

Up about 8k after a 350 deposit.
Nice upward swing. I assume you're aware that a downswing will come at some point. Do you track your win rate with an app?
Of course not. Do you prepare a business plan before you bed a woman? I keep my fun fun.
jesus man, how long did it take you to run that up?
One evening. Then it took me about a day of drunk playing to give it all back  :bag:

That troubless guy is always there at multiple tables
That's the guy who used the all-in trick to buy in multiple times. He always seems to have the table covered. I lost a few huge pots against him. Solid player.
Definitely solid.

Mad at myself for playing drunk last night. I took a couple of brutal river beats and combined with the drinking went on a nice tilt and shed my stack. Frustrating.

Me and some GB's were talking about getting 20 of us together for a $500 buy in game, winner goes to WSOP.

Guy we staked this year finished about 1200. Was short stacked pushed all in with 99. One caller with QQ. Flop goes 9QX. Dickjerks.

Wow figured the downswing was coming but didn't think it would happen that soon. Welcome to variance........

YYou don't need to welcome me, I've been here plenty. :bag:

I play lower stakes than you do online but I also play a fair bit of live poker (at least I did until my kid was born). I don't have nearly the swings in live poker that I do in online. I've built up a decent roll online but lately it's gotten to the point where I expect to lose all in when I'm 80-90% favorite. Just got to keep chugging away. If you're a good player, you'll win in the long run.

I am interested in some unbiased reviews of this new site via PM. GooRoo mentioned one to me before so if this is it, I would use him as a referral, but would appreciate any feedback nonetheless. Thanks

BTW, I play over at Bovada when i have time. Decent games, quick payouts. They recently came out for a mobile app for their version of Rush Poker called Zone Poker. Haven't tried it yet as I am more comfortable with normal cash tables but think a lot of people would be interested in a mobile version

Available on Android? Wasn't able to find it in Google store. That would be interesting though .

I put in a ton of hours last year attempting to beat their low stakes Zone Poker game with a proper bankroll. Seemed hard to beat the rake long term, but it's a fun way to play. Not as much strategy since you never know who your opponent is, but still a lot of easy money in those games.

nothing to download, sorry should have said "version" instead of "app" (didn't realize exactly what it was)

go to their regular website, click poker, mobile poker and it will have the mobile link (not sure if it will get filtered)

Anyone ever play at Parx in PA? I'm off on Friday and have the itch but don't feel like fighting shore traffic all the way down to AC.

Game is easier at Harrahs Chester. I'm there every Friday night into Saturday morning and sometimes once or twice on a weeknight. Let me know if you decide to head down. I sit at one of the only two or three 2-5 NL tables and always wear a Red Sox hat. Come say hai

Oh...

If you do, Park valet, give them 10 and they'll keep it out front for you. The casino is adjacent to one of the worst neighborhoods in the US. I wouldn't want to walk to my car with a bankroll at 2 am here.

I have a couple friends that are 10/10 regs at Parx. They definitely enjoy the room and staff there.
