FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Man, do i have a lot of pending bets out there. The funniest is looking at the time I made the plays. I would say 75-80% of the plays are made between 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. :loco: . Funny thing is i really don't follow CFB much, but i got quite a bit on Mr. TJ Yeldon to win the Heisman. I believe it was good 'ol GR who posted one night how much he liked the play, and it appears my itchy trigger finger was particularly jumpy for a week or 2 there. So I had to pull a good 'ol Lumpy/everyone play now and throw the kid some love as my avatar.

 
Dodgers just want to see you the first time so they can pound you extra hard next time through the lineup. There is no sense of urgency with them the first time through, the second time through they get set, and then they go to pound town in about the 5th inning.

Won my hard beat back and then some. All 11 of my friends are on east coast time and sleeping by 10 pm in Vegas. Losers

Atta boy GB. I felt unsettled about my loss during the day today and went back tonight. Up $1900. Glad I went back to say the least.

Ugh, that is absolutely the worst. Well, i guess if i think about it, it can be excused since you guys are there for a week. As long as they can make the proper adjustments and sleep well tonight, and hang out like rock stars for the next 6 days or so i could approve.

But hell of a job winning some money back bud. If you have any interest, I think there may be some plays I will make on the UFC card for the weekend. I have been getting whooped lately, but i can dig a little deeper. Most importantly though, if you guys are fringe MMA fans, you really should check this card out. It is loaded with just "fun" fights. Will be great to have on in the bkgd of some other shennanigans going on. I am pretty sure i can hit better then .500 on the card, and it is 6 hours straight on the new Fox Sports channel.

Geez, i sound like a walking plug there for the show, but it just is set up as a real fun one. So if you want to bet on it, i can put some extra time into these fights since most of the guys are familiar and hopefully make up for some of the other cards i have had.

Is it true that Vegas is a party town with a different vibe, so every girl there will be in a more open minded and playful mood?

 
  • Tigers are 17-2 in game 1 at home.
  • Pads are 4-4 at home since the break with an average of 3.0 runs scored. In their past 20 home games the Padres are 7-13 SU with 2.9 runs per game and a slash of .225/.290/.335 with 2.75K/BB per game.
  • Zack Wheeler is unbeaten on the road; 4-0 with a 2.21 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and .603 opponent OPS in six starts. Mets are 5-1 SU in those games (RL 6-0) and average 6.2 runs against opponents 2.7 runs in those games.

Preseason game # 2: Starters play a series or so more than week 1, but probably not out of the 1st quarter in the overwhelming majority of games. 3 drives max. Vanilla packages, going through the motions hitting another color jersey at game speed. Coaches will play close to the vest - Nothing revealed, no chess match, just get 'em some work, and off the field before anyone gets hurt and the fodder takes over...2nd half will be all guys you might not even see on a September roster - average joe vs average joe doing whatever it takes to stand out and last another week. Lots of potential for fireworks mostly due to lack of talent and ability leading to breakdowns that result in big plays and scores.

***Now, next week is 'dress rehearsal' for Week 1. - great opportunity to see if you really know what you think you know about almost every Team, that you can carry over into the early weeks of the season.

Hopefully you went with your gut and took the under. Philly has some solid depth for the preseason and I think it's going to drive their QBs to play their A game for that starting spot. They just suck with turnovers tonight.

I've mentioned Laz Diaz in here before. I have a genuine dislike for the guy. He seriously effects games with his strike zone. Five of his last seven have gone over. Yu has never pitched with him. It will be interesting to see what happens.
