Looks like Bowers isn't going to run...bye bye free money
No..i'm actually shocked that degenerates actually bet on this stuff.
If they put out a terrible line I'm hitting it...I don't care if its on the Nickelodeon Awards

:goodposting: Amen. Maybe I have been hanging around the gambling thread too long, but I completely do not see the logic in not taking a good bet because it is "degenerate". I would have loved nothing more then given GooRoo my money in my 401K a few years ago and watch it go through the roof betting on women CBB and the like, as everyone else's money went down the drain in ther stock market

Individual plays for today...

1 unit

Francesco Molinari -110 vs Ryan Moore

Ross Fisher -120 vs Robert Allenby

2 units

Ben Crane -105 vs Adam Scott

Geoff Ogilvey -150 vs Padraig Harrington

JB Holmes -135 vs Camilo Villegas

The favorites are way too big imo. No chance I am betting any of the big boys at -220 or more....at least one will lose probably. I fear the most for Lee Westwood and Rory Mcllroy

I hope I get to bet odds to win it all after the first round. Not sure if my book will put out new odds.
nice work here fella

Indiana +5.5 2 units

I would not be shocked if 75% of bets are coming in on Purdue, yet Vegas remains comfortable with the line and no major adjustments.

This all this Indiana team has left this year. Students started camping out to get into Assembly Hall yesterday afternoon. Don't fall for the trap and take the homedog in what can be one of the loudest venues in college basketball.

#####This is from huge Indiana homer, fade accordingly.#####

I also played Wyoming -1 1H by accident :bag: so if you want to sweat it with me ...

YTD 177-150 54.2% +11.45u

Not much tonight - three one star plays.

Edm U 29.5 Shts -115 Marleau U 3 shts -115 Vanek O 2.5 Shts -140

I was informed however that we have a potential 4 star play tomorrow night depending on where the line is set. My pal seems to think vegas will have this one all wrong.

Frost?WTFI blame digits
It was senior tour and I had Langher(tourney winner)over cooky, and David Frost over peter senior. Cink was a great 1st round play @+115. Fading furyk (again) and stricker (both were decent favorites and both off form right now) worked out well. Lost a couple other dog plays i thought might work (kaymer, casey).

Well, they graded all 5 winners....I am sure they will correct that, but still....I should probably start betting my entire account right now...

G'Town only laying 6.5 at home against UC??

I would recommend a healthy Georgetown wager for those that care....I wont be betting against UC, but I am definitely sitting this one out. Georgetown is the play, no doubt.

Taking the Lakers tonight -2 1/2. They do have trouble in P-town, but I think this is one they want more than most. That 3-game losing streak before the break looks to have lit a fire. Brian Shaw talked about it last night -- how we should see a different team and stuff. It's almost like the season starts now for them. They're obviously rested and cruised last night anyway, besides the fact they're 9-2 in B2B's (didn't like seeing that on the ticker though, ha).

Anyone like Michigan +4 tonight? I kind of do but then again I liked Rutgers a lot last night too.
The other game I like is Nebraska -1.5. Nebraska is 14-1 at home this season. They did get waxed at KState a couple of weeks ago but they turned it over 22 times, they usually take care of the ball much better than that. I think they can reverse the loss but then again Im not seeing it well right now.
Fyi, Almeida, Nebraska's girthy big man, didn't play in the first ksu game due to injury. He's playing tonight. Also, Diaz, their talented starting 5, only practiced partially yesterday and had an mri on his knee last night. It reportedly came back negative and he's playing.
Posted by: Brian Rosenthal on February 23, 2011 9:08AM CSTMRI reveals no damage; Diaz expected to play tonight.
http://my.journalstar.com/post/Husker_Extra_Group/Husker_Extra/blog/hoops_mri_for_diaz.htmlFinally, it's also Tom Osborne's bday tonight. TO gave a speech to the players in the locker room right after the Texas game, talked about keeping their focus, that their work was not done yet.

I promised my pal I would never dish till he has his action in. That said.... he has his eye on one of the three you have listed.

Westwood a slight dog to Watney I like. Watney in better form but Westy better at this format. I like Big Easy vs. Holmes, both playing well but i'll take the experience. Ernie was 3 down after 3 holes and came back to win today. As much as I want to take the 17 yr old kid Matteo again, I think he blew his wad in the first match. Schwartzel is -155 though, a tad chalky. I think Ross Fisher has a decent chance to beat Graeme, decent price and he finished 4th here in 2009.

edit: I have a few more i'm looking at, just checking a few more things out.

Thanks, i also see sportsbook has up new odds for who will win the whole thing. Quick look has the favorites with Michelson and Fowler at +900, and the field at +600

Wow about the co-favorites. sportsbook is basically saying that the winner of their match tomorrow is the odds on winner? interesting, because lefty i'm pretty sure has never made it past third round and.........ooops, just checking there, fowler is 25/1 not 9/1. 2 time runner-up Paul Casey at 9/1.

hmm, maybe i read it wrong or they fixed it. Tricky sportsbook, always walking that fine line teasing us with a goofy line

Ben Crane over Rory Mcilroy @+140 and Yang upsetting Cink are two other dogs I like in this round. Otherwise, I think some of the notable favorites win. Kuchar, Donald, Lefty, Casey, Kaymer, Mahan and Oglivy.

In the other tourney going on this week, I like fading the hot headed south african Rory Sabbatini against David Toms. Also fading last weeks champion Aaron Baddely against Brian Gay and Jhonatan Vegas.

I hope not, i'd rather Cink take the whole thing at the +5000!

Just go my update for my first round...picked 25 of 32 right in the first round...I would wager right now I won't do that good in the basketball pool in a few weeks.

Here is what I got for today....

Lee Westwood -110 vs Watney

Eduardo Molinari +135 vs Donald

Hunter Mahan -125 vs Karlsson

Mark Wilson +110 vs Bubba

Also, put some on Mark Wilson at 63-1 to win the whole thing...

Today is a big day...if Wilson, Cink, and Kuchar get through today, its on like Donkey Kong

I put 50 bucks on cink and kuchar. Go golf ####!

For mo....Philly u97.5(-125) at bookmaker, no way that old team of hacks stays healthy all season

ETA: STL u84.5 -115 at betonline, opened 87.5, wainwright out of the year and only moves 3 games? I think wainwright is worth more than 3 wins

Reloading after taking my worst beating in recent memory on Sunday.

Florida -6

Connecticut -5

Pittsburgh -7.5

Florida at home vs a Georgia team they already beat in Georgia by 13.

Pittsburgh at home, coming off a home loss to the johnny's

UConn is a total Homer pick. They are at home against a team they already beat on the road.

Adding Boston -4.5 at Denver

After losing Anthony and Billups, this team is going to need time before they start jelling. This game could get away from them fast.

I wish SB would get MLB win totals up. Currently seeing 96 elsewhere and I like the over there *assuming ties push*.

IMO There is some value in Boston winning the east at -150... limited but it's there. It's a 2 horse show out there this year with Toronto/TampaBay having terrible off-seasons. I'd consider the over 74.5 on Baltimore as they've done well under Showalter.

That was at the Garden, the 'home away from home' for Pitt...

I really like the 4 loss at home Chicago Bulls as homedogs against anyone even the Miami Heat. I'm taking the Bulls +3 tonight. Anyone betting against them last Thursday vs the Spurs knows how solid they are at home. I'm taking the Bulls +3 tonight fairly big. In the second game, I think with Perkins and Nate both shipped off might be a good night to take the Nuggets at home +4.5. Melo or not, that is still a tough place to play.

BOL

:unsure:Great call...Crane is a heck of a golfer. Pretty bummed on Cink....he just isn't where he should be yet.
when do we start hedging the Kuchar bet?;)I bought in at +2500 (yesterday) and +1000 (today).50 bucks each.
When he faces McDowell in the Semi's IMO. Not sure Fowler has what it takes to give him a run for it.
:lol:I think he beats Fowler....and gotta hope Yang pulls one out to beat Graeme. If he does, we are letting this sucker ride into the Final Four imo...

Thanks for the praise on the crane/yang picks but these didn't turn out how i thought they would. did go 5-2 on the favorites i played and eeked out a 1.5 unit win with all my plays, but these were disgusting. Westy had a couple chances down the stretch to draw all square and couldn't get it done with the putter. Els lost a tight match that could have gone either way. Matteo is just a kid who doesn't care who he plays really. Just having fun doing something he loves. He was 60/1 last night, the longest shot in the field. He won't be when the new lines come out. I think i just overrated foss risher in that match. Manboobs got whacked by fowler, very surprising. I thought this might have been Phils year to win this thing. For those on Kuchar, I wouldn't hedge right now. Take your chance on another flyer to win maybe, like Jimenez, Crane, Day, or Yang. Last yr I made money because I had Casey to win it all, but on the last day played Poulter and hedged out in the final. Thats when i would hedge i guess.
