FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

Hearing Romney just about even with Obama in prelim polls two weeks before the election and getting him at +400 right after the first debate, this is just feeling like fantastic value at this point. No matter how this shakes out, dog backers are going into the final weeks with a great ticket and will make this all the more exciting.
Am I the only one who thinks the entire lead-up process is bull####? I mean it has become a billion dollar business making money reporting on all of these things, and the only thing that sells better is this neck and neck race. it just seems a little too well scripted for me, and i have a feeling the next bunch of presidential elections will look like this

You can find a poll that says pretty much anything. Nate Silver, more than anyone I think, does a pretty good job of separating the signal from the noise in terms of what polls mean, and where the respective candidates sit.

I like how Silver put the results of the last presidential election into context... anyone could have gotten 46 states right without much effort, it was those other 3 that set him apart.

Cardinals have completely melted down. So what is the opening line on the WS? Have to like the Giants SU.
Giants will be throwing Zito and Lincecum out there for games 1 and 2 against Verlander and Fister, Cain will only start once in the series. Careful...
And Bumgarner's shelved, apparently. His velo is way down, and it's been showing.
I have Timmy/Zito/Cain/Vogelsong/Timmy/Zito/Cain right now. Giants are a terrific team and I think there will be value there, but this pitching is not lined up the way they want it to be meaning they have to hit to win. They don't hit that well to be perfectly honest.

There is a guy who hangs out here. His name is GooRoo. You should look him up.
WhoRoo??
Rule #1: Never question unit amounts with a guy named Cash. :2cents:
I hear the train a comin, it's rollin round the bendand I ain't seen a prop loser since I don't know when

I'm stuck in cash heaven, and time keeps draggin on

but that GooRoo keeps on rollin on down to Super Bowl

How 'bout a boy named

+1 on Detroit.

Cutler getting ribs checked. Sounds like Forte and Bush carrying the load. Who's behind Jason Campbell?

Detroit will have to come out throwing.

I put 0.5u on CHI 0 +105

Their D has looked pretty strong and it looks like Cutler will at least be out there for a while

Dont know if this applies to all that have been cut on props at SB, but out of curiosity I tried and was successful in making a halftime prop bet. Time for gooroo to fire up the halftime emails.

So if the Lions get a TD here - do they go for 2 pts? Knowing that if they don't get it, they are down 7. and if they do, their D can hold the Bears to a FG and still tie the game.

that's a big if here...
Big IF - but curious to know what you would call... given the circumstances. Not saying that it's going to happen. But a pretty interesting coaching decision in the 4Q.

i think now, they may go for 1, not much point in going for 2 down 13
