FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (11 Viewers)

Holy crap,WTF. I was at the bar and thought I had the Troy game in the bag. I come home and find they lost????????

ND got jobbed. The play clock was at 0 for over a second.
Just like the titans years ago. That is inexcusable. I actually watched 2 players for ND just stand there and wave their arms and not go for the block. Surely if you aren't going to attempt to block a kick, watch for a fake. Also, I am pretty sure Brian Kelly told his special teams coach right after it happened..."Welp, pack your ####, we won't be needing you anymore"

Soooooo important to get the best line. I had 6u in wagers yesterday go from wins to pushes because i got a line that was 1/2pt worse than i should have

My plays today

BUF-13 vs. GB, 1 unit

PIT+5 vs. TENN, 1 unit

AZ+6.5 vs. ATL, 2 units

MIA+5.5 vs. MIN, 4 units

STL+3.5 vs. OAK, 1 unit

SEA+3.5 vs. DEN, 2 units

JAX+7.5 vs. SD, 2 units

NE-2.5 vs. NYJ, 4 units

NYG+5.5 vs. IND, 1 units

Also put 40 bucks down on a parlay with all of the above picks...pays out 14k.

Lost almost 20 units in 1 day yesterday

Bankroll is decimated.

Must soldier on though....

2.5 Units - Green Bay -13 over Bills

1 Unit -4 Game ML Parlay (to win .93 units)

Packers -700

Cowboys -360

Vikings - 250

Titans -230

I feel your pain JB

Three big losses for me yesterday. Soccer treated me no better, broke out up 2 bucks after all was said and done on soccer, WISHED I got off that light on CFB.

Looking for some winning teasers today, just give me 5 all winners, and I'll combo them up to recoup yesterdays losses

the FBG consensus is what really killed me. Cal on Friday night and Troy tomorrow. Dually noted, I can be talked into anything and need to stay away from games I know nothing about - it's my own fault.Good luck today guru

I was hot yesterday...went 11-3 and two of my losses were bull#### losses (ECU +20 and Troy -3.5).

Needed every bit of that though to make up for Friday night CFB. Cal hurt me....alot.

I normally don't chase losses but I did yesterday. Barely got out alive chasing my Cal pick with a three team ML parlay of Oklahoma (27-24), Mizzou (27-24 @home against S.D.state, reaally?), and Stanford. 5 units to win 3. Would have been crying like a school girl if i had lost that one. Getting in on Tennessee last week @ +16 helped a little. The two games I really liked yesterday I failed to capitalize on(had them paired with losers) were Army over N.Texas and Utep. It seems to me it is often better to look at craptastic games that go under the radar of Joe Public. My 3 team ML parlay to recapture all the rest of my losses from yesterday (just over 2 units) is Dallas -330 with Minnesota -250 and Green Bay -700. 3 units to pay 3.3 units.

If someone wants to post some BS teasers for me, that would be swell.I didn't play all the teasers last week, but I did manage to go 10-0 last week, with Baltimore fixing me up real good on Monday night :)thanks in advance, will answer yours.
These are the games I'm planning on teasingKC +2GB -12.5 :bag:Cincy +2Pit +5Dal -7/7.5Miami +5.5Was +2.5/3SD -7NYG +5.5SF +5.5ETA: there are 3 games lined at +3.5, i might be putting them into a 3t 7pt teaser
I'm taking GB out...too many combinations, think we're looking at 10 teams this week with NYJ most likely qualifying, that's 120 combinations, if I keep GB in there it's 165 combinations, no thanks
Added WAS but passing on NYJ. Just too lazy to put the Jets in, they should be a play, +9 at home with that defense. Also put in some teasers with GB -12.5 to knock them down to 6.5.

on ATL -6.5 todaywhat news did i miss that bumped the cle/kc line to 3?
Seneca Wallace expected to start for CLE.
 The 2nd string QB gets called on for the start and the line moves to 3? Cleveland is starting the wrong QB. KC had a lot go there way Monday night but cripes this is the BROWNS.Do you agree?
I think KC is a very nice teaser leg, have them in there on a few. With you on ATL too Lump. Back in the dome, Arizona coming across the country to play a 1pm game.

Hell if I know. I don't really understand how Delhommy still has a job when guys like Aaron Brooks were shown the door and never given another look ever again. ####### Quincy Carter got a cup of coffee at least with the Jets for a bit. Seneca is fine and isn't a turnover machine. They have a couple of decent backs. :shrug:Also CLE tends to get late steam. I have some theories on this, but this situation doesn't really apply today.

I told you guys about putting your retirement account, kid's college fund, etc. on the Packers last week so your balance should be pretty big now:

http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...&p=12272157

My play today, not quite as strong as last week, but still a strong play is:

Kansas City +3 -120

Don't worry about the 20% juice. KC will cover this no problem. Even if Delhomme plays (he's doubtful), KC will roll in this one.

Big Card this week after laying off College yesterday :bag:

All to win 1 unit:

Cle -3 -115; CLE wins this outright. Wallace is better than Delhomme and KC is in for a letdown. CLE is desperate for a win at home;

Buff +12.5: I hate asking bad teams to do good things but everyone seems to be acting like they already know the final score here. I'll go contrary to popular opinion. Besides, there is always the chance GB is looking ahead a little to being at CHI on MNF next week.

CIN ML +120: Baltimore is in for a letdown and Cincy is home and desperate. Further, Cincy can attack that Baltimore secondary where the NYJ's failed to do so.

PHIL/DET O 41.5: Both teams can score points; Vick is back and that will give Det fits, on the other side, Hill is not as bad as advertised and they will put points as well on a dinged up Philly team

MIA +5.5: Every year a team that is expected to be a contender falls flat. This year that team in Minnesota. They looked like doo-doo against the Saints and I see nothing to suggest that trend will reverese itself. I can't see MIA winning, but this is going to be close. MIA is going to be able to run with more success than people think IMHO

WAS +3 - 115: This team is for real IMHO. HOU is coming off the emotional win. I'll take the points;

NYJ +3 115: Gimme the dog in this fight. The NYJ are not as bad as they looked on MNF and the Pats aren't as good as they looked last week

Parlay risking .5 units pays 11.5 units

Cle -160/GB -700/MIA +5.5/Was +120/SD -320/NYJ +135

Teaser of CIN +8.5/Was +9/NYJ +9 - Risking 1 unit to make 1.8

Wallace is starting FYI and we could not be more opposite here. G'luck!

Woz two big bets this weekend:

KC +3 Money line of +145

Philly -6.5

Parlay card:

GB -13.5

Philly -6.5

KC +3

Indy -5.5

Jags +7.5

Why would you not go money line here? I put 2 units on this game to pay out 2.5. seems losing to losing close to a total unit just to get 3 points.

In addtion to the above, just laid these down...love it when Hank Goldberg agrees with me:CHI+7 vs. DAL , 2 units

NYJ+3 vs. NE, 1 unit(already locked in 2 units at 2.5 below)

AZ+6.5 vs. ATL, 2 units

10 buck parlay on all three above.

I like the ML too.....not a bad play. I just like the comfort of the 3 points, but I still think KC rolls.

So let me ask a fantasy question in here - I trust you derelicts more than going into the Shark Pool.

Who would you start at WR out of these 3:

Mike Williams - TB

Eddie Royal

Dez Bryant

FBG ranks them: Royal, Williams, Dez

I would rank them the exact opposite. I have both Royal and Williams, and I am starting Williams. I wish I had Dez over both.

Royal. I think he is guaranteed the most targets. Although both Dez and Williams saw a ton of passes last week and looked involved in the offense. Royal just seems the most likely to see 8 balls or more tossed his way.

Damn - thanks.

You guys are making me think here.

I currently have Hakeem Nicks starting, I could always mitigate the risk and just toss Royal and Dez in there together but I feel like Nicks is going to play. If he doesn't, I'm f'd

FWIW I think Nicks plays and is too good to sit.

Williams, because he's the best TD threat but still will get targets...Royal in PPR
