Advice needed: I have to have a Jensen receiver/DVD player, Sirius radio, amp and sub ripped out of my truck and put into my new sled. All of the places which do this stuff professionally try to rape you. What's the best way to find a guy who is capable of doing this and does it "on the side" from his normal job?I don't trust anyone on Craigslist.

I made quite a bit off the NFL this year which never happens. I'm essentially playing with free money, it's all good. Would like to have a winning bowl season though, we've just started. Tomorrow the bowl season really begins.

I haven't gone through all the posts yet but wanted to extend my very sincere apologies to anyone who tailed. It hurts me more when others lose on my plays than what I actually lose. Which was in the neighborhood of 15 units between the spread and over. I've had a pretty good year thanks to this thread and some nice golf plays. Thanks to all. I did well with matchups and hit a few bombs to win tourneys. Looking forward to next yr with these, seems like my best sport handicapping wise. Thinking of draining my account (taking another 2500 payout, same as last month) and leaving myself with about 6 units for action plays through the bowl season. This game took alot of the gas out of me. Prolly won't be as active here. Look for me in the stock thread, I seem to be much more reliable there. Go BIDU and CTXS!!!!

Bah, it does suck when people tail and fail but there is always tomorrow and most of us bat around .500 or better in here. I gotta text today from an FBG who followed my NBA parlay yesterday saying thanks, these things work both ways. CFB Bowl games are the biggest mystery to me and Vegas cleans up on these things because of games like Fresno not showing up at all and people getting caught up in news in the CMU game which ultimately meant nothing. You said it yourself, WKU is of the ilk of the not so elite MAC teams and we probably all gave them too much credit. You, me, Goo, Guster, Gussy and others were all on the side and I don't tail people blindly in CFB plays. I agreed with it. Good advice is to fade my sides until I win one. Bowling Green +7 tomorrow looks delicious! Sorry about the big losses today, we'll get'em back here in the next week.

Granted i didn't see all the game. BUT........I thought Fresno's OL and DL looked like they were about as motivated as the linemen in the Pro Bowl last yr. Or maybe like defenders at the NHL All Star game. Blame Carr too, he blew monkey balls.

I'd be beware of that Baylor side tonight. I had UCLA pegged as a 4 point favorite in my handicapping and that thing sat at -1 until yesterday when it shot to 3 (now -120 too). I took the over as an action play, and mostly because even though my handicapping says play the under I wouldn't dare. I have no confidence in that play though FWIW.

Ah my bad...FWIW, the only bowl play I'm considering today is the Under 44 in the, ahem, "Military" Bowl. Both defenses are stout and SJSU's coach is on a plane to the Rockies. Tough to tell which teams with interim coaches have hangovers and which don't, but I think the Spartans' (and BG's for that matter) offense struggles. Insight?

I had anticipated this spread being around 5 and was planning on playing the Bearcats. I think New Mexico is terribly overrated this year, the problem is Cincy is very inconsistent. If they bring their "A" game it will be double digits. Undecided as of now. Hate seeing Stuckey on the other side of a lean.

I think so. He's the only rookie skill player to make the Pro Bowl. Beat out Drew Brees (and Russell Wilson) in the NFC. Luck is 1st alternate in the AFC I think. No Doug Martin or Alfred Morris. Different voters I guess but still a good sign for his chances I think.

Based on your avatar, any lean on the Duke/Cincy game? Duke's offense is pretty solid but their defense is putrid. I'm sure they'll use this time off to put in some schemes but any idea what UC will bring to the table. I'm leaning Duke and over unless Cincy's defense is that good, Duke should put up 20+ points which would make it tough for Cincy to cover without the over hitting.
