Based on your avatar, any lean on the Duke/Cincy game? Duke's offense is pretty solid but their defense is putrid. I'm sure they'll use this time off to put in some schemes but any idea what UC will bring to the table. I'm leaning Duke and over unless Cincy's defense is that good, Duke should put up 20+ points which would make it tough for Cincy to cover without the over hitting.

UC's defens is good. Offense is iffy.I think they win, but covering 9 is going to be tough. Also, you gotta think Duke has a lot more to play for...first bowl game in awhile and UC lost its coach...again. I would take the 9 if I was to bet the game...I mean...I took the 9.

Yeah, I'm going with Duke and put a little more on the over b/c I think the over has a better chance of hitting. Duke is terrible against the run which is UC's strength, Duke is a passing team which is UC's defensive Achilles. UC is 72nd pass defense, for comparison, UNC is 78th which Duke hung 33 points on and 276 passing yards.

Andrew Luck ROY - booked it mid-AugustI think it may even come down to who wins a playoff game. Do you think that should have any significance in the decision?Very interesting that this year, 3 Rookie QBs will be in the Playoffs. I think whoever wins a game, or guys deep in the playoffs wins it.

Dont really think Duke will be able to block UC, but we shall see. I expect that to be UC's ticket to victory.

On this as well, and kind of pissed that it can be had for 23 at reduced juice now. If there is one thing I have learned is that public bets are almost always on the over when there is one game on television. Same with NCAA basketball, and NBA to an extent.I think the BG TT under might be the best bet of all.

Well Duke didn't really give up a ton of sacks this year. Not sure how Cincy's D-line is but Duke's biggest weakness remains the huge talent gap in athleticism. So if they are just going to use brute strength, Duke should be fine, but if they have a skilled, speed rusher on the outside, it could be a problem. But yeah, if Cincy has any athletes, they'll have a field day on either side of the ball. Duke won't beat itself but when it played teams like Va. Tech the talent gap was just too big to compensate with anything else.
 
under 23 2nd half? Neither of these teams have been very impressive. Take away the PI penalties and the blocked punt...........

Nice easy 1h under :thumbup: - with three FG's and a TD - have to think that some of these FG's are going to start resulting in TD's eventually. - taking the win here and staying away.

Spent the whole afternoon with the Air Force Academy football team, what a great bunch of kids. Also chatted up a 20-year-old Rice cheerleader who reminded me when I was leaving that we were staying at the same hotel. :unsure: :unsure: :unsure: I already mentioned that I'd like her panties to make some soup with.

Best bet today is the Duke/Cincy OVER, have fun. I'll be at the AFA team dinner, and then I'm getting ####faced. :bye:

Whoa, I missed the last 10 minutes, took this dog for a walk (french bulldog, btw, thing is classic). Damn. If you woulda told me I could get Duke and the points again in this game I would've jumped. I had a nice middle at one point with Cinci +5 1/2 and even balked at that.
