sportsbook back open with RGIII -250

betonline up to -250-300
When does this close? I want to go all in on my piddly sportsbook account.
RGIII is getting hammered across the board at books offering this, sportsbook now has by far the best price5dimes -390

betonline -350

greek -550

sportsbook -250

At those prices I'd pass....luck and richardson will start eating away at the RGIII votes and we might see better RGIII numbers later in the week when the race tightens up

At -250? Anyone looking at the numbers has to see there is no comparison except for wins. The amount of votes that would have to come in late on Luck is staggering.

Anyone else like Mizzou tonight in the Jimmy V classic?

Have you seen what they've been doing to teams so far?

Hi. Mizzou fan here.We haven't had a road game yet. It's nice and all that we beat up on mediocre teams at home (or in Kansas City), and I'm very excited, but don't go betting the farm on them yet.

No, he's not. He's a terrible QB. He was mediocre in college.Your reaction was hilarious, though.

Yep... still completely oblivious

Are there any reliable NHL touts out there? I enjoy watching hockey but I'm not a puckhead. I'd like to get an edge from someone who knows the sport inside-out. Anybody can take the huge favorites, but they lose just like great pitchers who are laying -290. I'm looking to be on the right side of the games that are virtual pick ems so I don't have to eat heavy chalk.

I'm done betting basketball. I almost had a heart attack last year yelling at the TV. Missed free throws, unbelievable backdoor covers, etc.
Follow RickJSportPlays on twitter, 5-6 hockey plays a week, definitely with an edge. Actually all his stuff is good, very low volume but usually action on at least a game or 2 a day.
Perfect! Thanks. :hifive:

Jeff, is this documented?
St. Johns -1Brown +12 1/2Arkansas St. +3 1/2Boise St. -18Season 17-10
He was 10-9 here.St. John's was a L, Brown was an L, Ark St at his posted line was an L, Boise St was a win. So he was 1-3 last night. That makes him 11-12.
My bodog account says differently. I don't need atribecalledjeff to validate my picks. I posted far before the Ark. St. game that I got the game at 4 1/2. Thanks for playing. Makes me smile............."we want you to do well, yada yada yada". Whatever.

He's right...you posted +3.5 and that lost, nobody cares that you actually bet it at +4.5. That's how this works.People in here are trying to help, you're doing pretty standard new guy stuff, don't sweat it and try to keep learning

Not alot of conviction on the board for me tonight. Small wager for fun.

Date placed:

Dec 06, 2011 8:31p

3 Team Parlay

Long Beach State +14

Washington +8½

Miami Florida -2

Risk US$ 34.49 to win US$ 200.87

I've been staring at the college bowl lines for about three hours now looking at all the possibilities. Christmas came three weeks early! :nerd:

Best advice is to just ignore the haters. If you keep posting your picks and they keep doing well they won't be ignored. That's how all the guys here started who actually became psuedo touts. They rest of us are just here to shoot the #### and lose money. I am of the opinion we could use some new blood as long as you like to get drunk and chase your losses on the Hawaii games on Saturday nights with the lot of us, you'll fit in fine.

Get some bowl talk going on in here instead of arguing over somebody's posted record. Either ignore it, play them, or fade them.

Wisky +7 (hopefully) currently 6.5 over Oregon - not impressed with Wisky's defense against Mich State but this is a game won in the trenches. I can't see how Oregon's small d-line is going to be able to get off blocks and stop Ball. Also, screams big play action passes from Wilson. Can they stop Oregon? I'll take a great coach in Bielema having a scheme to try to stop it (although I like Kelly too).

Oregon St -3.5 - I am a big Stanford/Luck fan but my oh my what a performance against OU. Not only was their offense good, but they held OU to 3 pts. Luck is very good but his supporting cast is not.

Notre Dame +3 vs Florida State - ND playing very well down the stretch, I'll take the 3 pts here.

Va Tech +2 against Michigan - Michigan in a BCS bowl, kidding right? VA Tech with a bad game against Clemson so can't give them too much credit here. One man show in Robinson will be stopped by VA Tech defense with 4 weeks to prepare.

Bama +1 vs LSU - would have liked a fg here but 1 will have to do. Two very even teams, I just thought Bama outplayed LSU by a lot last game. Missed fgs, turnovers, etc. LSU offense did nothing. One can make an argument that with Jefferson their offense has played better but last week's 1h against UGA didn't sell me. SHould be an outstanding game. Likely will play Over as well - special teams, defensive tds may open this one up.

I just dumped my Luck Heisman bets (well kind of). Played RG3 to win -400. I'm taking a loss of either $450 (if Luck wins ) or $750 (if rg3 wins).

Not sure what I think about this game but if it gets to seven I might join you. Wisconsin is a team that rolls downhill and I think they can play well enough on defense to at least keep this fairly close.

Okie State, yeah they are pretty good. I doubt I'd take them with the hook though, Stanford still has some decent personnel on defense and a long time to prepare for all the athletes. However, I do see Okie State and Oregon being about the same team and Oregon crushed Stanford. Still thinking this one through.
Notre Dame +3 vs Florida State - ND playing very well down the stretch, I'll take the 3 pts here.
Notre Dame has one good win all year: Michigan StateDown the stretch they played Maryland and BC two of the worst teams in FBS, a down Navy program, they won by seven at Wake Forest and they lost to USC and Stanford. These teams have two common opponents. Notre Dame beat Wake by 7 and BC by 3. FSU lost to Wake by five and beat BC by 31. Florida State is probably the better team, I tend to lean that way.

Michigan developed their running game over the course of the season so I doubt Va Tech will shut them down since as usual, D-Rob will be the best player on the field. That should come in handy for Michigan but I don't think I'd give Va Tech any points in this game. Overall they are probably the better team.

Thanks for the bowl game analysis - keep it coming. Just noting that, even as a double Wisconsin grad and Milwaukee resident, this is most certainly the first time I've heard Bret Bielema referred to as a "great coach". Most people around here have yet to buy in.
