Hit the nail on the head with this one. She started the match down two games, shed the nerves and proceeded to win like the next 9 out of ten.. :thumbup:
 
Here's some I just bet:

Under 2.5 players to throw a pass -350 - no trick passes attempted for either team this year. This was -260 the Colts/Saints game but I don't mind the extra 90 cents, just hoping a QB doesn't get hurt.

Un 1 fg missed -450 - this was -500 a few years ago when I bet it in the Pitt/AZ game with kickers arguably worse then this year. In a dome, perfect conditions should help.

TD longest score not fg -120 - this was -160 the Saints/Colts game from 2 years ago. Similar game here with a total of 55 versus 57 in that game. Longest td is 49.5 and fg is 44.5. This should be -150/-160 I think.

I will bet (but haven't yet):

no 2 pt attempt -240

Un 1.5 yds shortest td (hoping for this to come back to -115 as it usually does)

no both teams don't make a 33+yd fg -170

I just bet some more at +250, this is starting to go back down. Don't have a lot on it, but I think it's a very solid bet at +250. Pats will 100% kickoff so we lose this half the time right away. Gmen are 50/50 to me, so that puts us at +200. +250 has to be at worst breakeven. NYG did win the toss the last super bowl and they took the ball, so that worries me.
 
Always read the rules, books mess up each year. Anyway, I just bet Yes 4th down will be converted -230. My book (it's a local book that copies Greek/Pinny) said that a 4th down must be attempted for this to have action. All other books state that if a 4th down conversion attempt is not made then No is the correct answer.

Last year I max bet yes 2pt conversion converted +450 (bodog said a 2pt conv. attempt must be made for it to have action). Needless to say they did cancel it, but I could have maybe bet less on it and it would have stood? There was a 2pt conversion made so it ended up costing me over 2k - would have made my super bowl profitable. :bag:

And look everywhere for mistakes. I just bet Gronk +2000 for mvp. I do not think he will win but it's value. :confused:

Yes. I have a FBG-certified, Monster parlay going to him, so he better. I may even add some, and just go for this one. That's a low price for what's become such a dominant tennis player.And I'm a big Nadal guy usually, but these last two Joker matches convinced me he's picked up where he left off. And I don't know how Nadal could have closed the gap there. Nadal's hope is to get in his head somehow. And he'll try everything to do it.

And Bender, I apologize for making fun of tennis earlier in the thread. I had forgotten how much I dig this sport. I've watched every match from the quarterfinals forward, and I stayed up to watch the entire women's final last night even without placing a bet on it.

Despite my affection for Connors/McEnroe/Borg/Andre, you could argue that THIS is the golden age of tennis.

Ha! no problem GB. I enjoy mano e mano sports where it's all in your hands (UFC, boxing, tennis, etc). I grew up watching and playing it though so it wasn't really up to me that I ended up being a huge tennis hump. Prerequisite for any cable package for me is MLB Network and Tennis Network. Some might say I'm the opposite of the most interesting man in the world.Tennis took a big hit there for many years when Federer dominated. Some argue he's the best of all time, I argue, that until Rafa came around, he benefited greatly from no competition. He had an aging Rafter to contend with early in his career as well as the twilight careers of Samprass and Agassi and then literally no real challenge for 5-6 years. I hate the ##### and a lot has to do with the fact that everyone talks about him as a GOAT when I feel it was hugely attributed to having no solid year-after-year competition for so long.Don't tell Dentist I said that either, I don't want to get death threats via PM

It was kind of forced on me for a time, although nothing like some of the #### I saw around me...some ####ed up parents. The club I was at every damn day was a total tennis factory, like no other. Among many pros to come out of there, are both a Mens and Womens Wimbledon champion. Tracy Austin (youngest ever, I believe, at 16), who is still great friends with my sisters and family. And Pistol Pete...who I was great friends with. Yep, look at me.

Okay, I'm bored, staying in, and drinking...might as well bond with "John Bender" and "Raiders Nation", over tennis. :D

I coulda been a contender. Played a lot in my youth also and was a human backboard. I could return just about anything.But I could never manage to steadily fire a serve within the lines of that box thingy.

Dude - same here. My father forced me to play since I was age 5.Won my state division title in 1997 in California going 26-0. Tennis coach told me to stop pitching in the Babe Ruth summer league and I refused to listen. I pitched side arm and was an awful pitcher, but I loved it. Eventually developed severe tendonitis in my right elbow and was hoping for big things my senior year after the title my junior year. Ended up going like 9-17. Played in college at a DI school but never effectively enough to be good.Ahhhh glory days.

Damn, winning state, in CALIFORNIA, is serious biz. There wasn't really a tourney for that when I was around. What tourney was that, anyway? Or was it Ojai? 18s I assume. Or wait, you're talking high school divisions - 1A, 2A, etc, right?

Yep Divisions - I didn't win the state championship. Got smoked in the first round of the actual state event like 5-7, 4-6 IIRC

Okay, yeah, that didn't sound right. I mean, if you are the best player in Cali at that age, you are easily one of the most recruited players in the nation and no way in hell would they be letting you still be hitting the backstop, thinking you're Kent Tekulve. Too much money on the line. Okay, my highlight? 1 - 0 (all-time :lmao: ) record against Pete. USTA sanctioned tourney, too. I'm leaving out the ages, however. :whistle: Someone asked in the Aussie Open thread who had a winning record against Sampras...and I almost bit, lofl.

Borg, Connors, Gerulaitis were favorites. Didn't really like Johnny Mac, now I love him. Kind of like Barkley is to me. Oh, Mats Wilander for a bit. I even remember Nastase, that guy was classic. Becker and Edberg I guess, but interest was waning then. I was so over it after high school, except for following Pete's rise. Too bad I didn't get to see any of his stuff in person, except for once, which was great. I got to celebrate with him and the rest of the Davis Cup'ers in this huge suite at Caesars Palace, right after they won it there. When we hit the tables, they'd rope our table off and a crowd would form to watch. That was kinda fun. He actually flew back coach with me because I was not paying first class for an hour flight. That was the last time we hung out. He's in his own world now; actually always has been.Who were yours?
