FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

Here's a tip for all you prop players: Have a +15 unit day in one sport, and you might draw some attention to your account.:dead:
Oy
I could feel it coming. Everything fell my way and I killed the proverbial sheep. Whoops.
I tried my best to give a bunch back on Monday to avoid this. Loaded up on Seattle and went with GB at other books in live betting to "transfer" funds. That Seattle TD put an end to that plan. Between that score and my prop profits Im expecting the cut any day now. :sadbanana:

The subhead on this thread made something pop into my head...

to the tune of "we built this city"

"We built this city on locks and bowls... "

Finish it.

In chat with SB mgmt:

Irod: We reserve the right to lower these limits as per hour house rulesIrod: In this case the limit will not change sirJeff: let me make you an offer:Jeff: move my limits back up to $50. that was my normal bet, which I went over a few times a week. do that, and i will keep my picks to myself.Jeff: but if my limits stay at $10, I'm going to start sharing picks with friends.Jeff: and i know several people from message boards who would be interested.Jeff: and can collectively do a lot more damage than I can by myself.Jeff: I think that's fair.

Irod: This is not negotiable sir, the limits will remain as they areJeff: fair enough, but you guys are going to lose a lot more money this way.Jeff: let the games begin.Irod: Have a good day sir, for for any inconvenience but this will not changeJeff: one other thingJeff: "For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,"Jeff: "And breated in the face of the foe as he passed:"Jeff: "And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,"Jeff: "And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!"Jeff: Jeff OUT

Sweet. When I exhaust all of my ploys, I usually ask what she's wearing.

If anyone wants soccer game props that are apparently good enough to get me cut, feel free to PM me your email address. First ones will probably be out for this weekend. I'm not charging, but will accept donations if we do well.

-Jeff

Maybe a good argument for you would be to mention that 5dimes lets you play $100 props and never cuts you. But with the conversation you just had with them I'm surprised if they ever take you seriously again.

Have you ever seen Costa Rican wimmins?

I know it sounds like a broken record, and I know last nights Espinoza no run prop was a dog, but still  to Gooroo. Just made a nice withdrawal and The Ref family is going to have a new Pool heater this winter.
:banned: Great job bud. Thanks for posting this, I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction hearing these stories!

My checker at HEB said she thought I was done talking to her. I told her I just hadn't seen her around in a while. Then she gave me a coupon for a free twelve-pack of store brand root beer.

TAMPA BAY RAYS

[A COBB - J LESTER - Listed]

-135

6.0 - 10.0 Solid DayBrings me to 17-21 in college on the year.
Well last week really set me back on College ball for the year. But as we say "We move on". Only two bets I like on the card so far this week.I booked Clemson -10 for 4 units. Of course it's alrady been bet down to -9.5. FMLI also Booked 2 units of Oregon/Wazzou over 71.5

Obama took a big-### jump in FL in the new NYT/Quinnipac poll, from +3 to +10. Too late for this to be a convention bump, I think it's simply the wheels coming off the Romney train.Still at -165 on SB. May not be there for long.
Wow. Up to -240. Hope you bought big.

Does anybody see any reason not to max a teaser of the Giants +8.5 and Green Bay -1.5? Hard to envision a scenario where the Eagles could possibly beat the Giants by more than a TD, especially with the way Eli has been playing at the end of games. I think teasing the Giants with everything is a good call. The weakness of the leg is the Packers because you are playing against a team on a short week that included travel, and I hate going against winless teams. However, i think the Saints are not a team on the rise at this point, and they are still set-up to be much better at home on the turf than on the road. So talk me out of this one a bit...

Hell no dude. The fact that the Giants are underdogs is +2 points of bait for the public. Think about their secondary compared to what the Eagles have faced so far this year. Add to that the fact you have to trust Eli on the other side of the ball and that bet seems dangerous to me.

:moneybag:nice job
I didn't tail bmj today, but that is a nice job. Also nice job to Chainsaw with TB, and potentially to gussy with his Sea and the over calls
Thanks dude. I hit that one pretty hard. Like I told a buddy of ours, those home runs in the fifth couldn't have been any sweeter if they were hit into a field of corn.

the line did seem suspicious to me too. I am in it for a quite a bit already, and i am glad it is the Sunday night game, because if all goes well i have plenty of opportunity to hedge out before the game starts. Eagles are great at looking horrible, and then when you expect them to lose they all of a sudden click. Reid has also always put a ton of emphasis on winning the division games, and you know they have planned for the Giants well. But, their OL is still crap, and i don't think it will be any better this week coming up. For those of you who can find prop bets (bastards!), Vick ov rushing yards or over sacks for the game are probably solid bets. Of course since i think that is the way it will go, Reid will probably run the ball 30 times and screw all of it up, so on 2nd thought maybe skip those first props and McCoy over.

Alright, could really use everybody's help in here. I am in a survivor league and am down to only one pick left. Fortunately, the league went from 15,000 to about 1,000 now. As you can imagine, the payout for this bad boy is some wonderful money.

So, it is a survivor league, but instead being only able to pick a team once, it is set-up where each week the top x number of favorites are removed. This week it is Baltimore, Houston, and Atlanta, so I can't pick either of those 3. I can pick anybody else, and it won't effect any pick next week or for the rest of the turns.

I'm real pissed I am down to 1 pick left. Lost with Indy, Detroit, and Redskins last week, and chose not to take Atlanta or Houston because of the spreads or some other dumb thing i overheard. So, I would love to hear any and all advice here, who should i choose:

NO - Green Bay - they are the next highest favorite at -7.5. i wrote about them earlier, the game looks like a possible trap, but i don't know. Seems to be the pick a lot of people will pick too.

SF-NYJ - this one tempts me a lot too, with SF going off a loss and no Revis for the Jets. i don't see how New York can score on SF, so i think i am leaning SF here.

We have SD @ KC, where KC should do very well in this one, We have the Giants on a tear playing an Eagles team with half an OL and looking horrible against Cle and Ari. Also have Mia @ Ari, where it would seem reasonable Arizona wins this, same idea with SEA @ STL

SO help a brother who has been around here for a long time finally win a big pot. . My wife hates football, but she enjoys this one, and this is the only one she likes because she can dream about the money we can make. I think it is over $200,000. Money neither of us will likely ever see. So, help a brother out please...

Let's say you're stuck in a car with your family on the mountain. There are several roads down, none of which are guaranteed to give you safe passage. Some of the roads have different characteristics, but you have a tool that allows you to determine (within a few percentage points) the probability that you will not die on each respective road.So one road gives you a 75% chance of living, one gives you a 33% chance of living, one gives you a 50% chance of living, one a 48% chance of living, one gives you a 70% chance of living, and one gives you a 55% chance of living. Do you even think twice before you take the 75% chance road? And would you kick yourself less as you were falling to your death on the 75% road than on any of the other roads?

My strategy for any survivor pools or any brackets is to make the percentage play. If I lose, I  (of course) and move on.

Haven't searched the thread because I'm lazy.

What's the best book out there for variety of betting options, ease of payment / cash-out, and best lines? How does one go about funding such an account?

Updated Card for the weekend. I was able to buy a new box of chalk.

4 Units Clemson -10

2 Units Over Ducks 71.5

1 Unit Ducks -29

1 Unit TCU -16

1 Unit UCLA -19.5

Stick with home teams Denver, GB, or Arizona

I agree with you on the divisional rivalry angle. And the Giants D-line is still pretty scary for anyone to try to block, but truth is they only have 6 sacks on the year.I am waiting to lock it in because, and this may sound like I am mentally handicapped, but I think there is a chance we might be able to get Philly at +money come Sunday. And by mentally handicapped I mean that I can do anything.
