FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

Anything tonight?
I have Steelers +1 on a RR Parlay (3s, 4s, 5s - all hit earlier) and +6 to complete a teaser. Cowherd loved the Steelers in this. Thinks they go on a roll from this point forward. Dalton sacked 17 times in 6 games. Steelers healthy. Rothlisberger leading the league in converting 3rd down throws by a mile.

I followed you on those picks so will have a huge day if Pitt wins. Planning to hedge some of it.

Yeah, I've already teased Bengals to the Over. :bag:

Teased PIT and the over (+5/40.5) to give me something other than props to root for tonight.

I root for the Bengals, so the only way that I lose this one is if the Steelers win a low scoring game.

Steelers healthy?

I don't consider this healthy

Steelers declared RBs Isaac Redman and Rashard Mendenhall, C Maurkice Pouncey, RT Marcus Gilbert, LB Chris Carter, S Troy Polamalu, and QB Charlie Batch inactive for Week 7 against the Bengals.

Steelers have also been terrible on the road this year

It's always a good series, but for some reason I have it in my head that PIT wins in Cincy and CIN wins in Pittsburgh more than the other way around.

Charlie Batch is out???? Well then, DAMN! They get Woodley back, no? Harrison for this 3rd game back. Roth will have 300 yards passing tonight. You worry too much!

Nothing special 9-7-1 with 3 to go tonight

on games like this, live betting can be very advantageous. after the steelers kicked the field goal, i played cinci +110 for 50. after cinci's t.d., i bet pitt +120 for 50. If game goes back and forth(like it might), you can catch each team at +odds. All you really have to do is equal out the plays in the end. it has worked for me in the past. is this a good strategy or bad?

Excellent - Turnover. If the total is any good at all I'm going over.

Edit 44 - thats too high. It's like they know.

Edit 2 - in for a unit over 42.5

I have been doing this tonight too. Looking good so far.2 units pregame U 47 -1104 units in game O 40.5 -115 (right before the fumble)2 units in game U 48.5 +116 (right after the cinc td)That would be a sweet middle.

The rothy pick in the end zone hurt my plans a little. Then giving them the short field on the fumble made it worse. Bouught a quarter unit on steelers +220, when Ref was looking at the +7. Holding tight for now. Slightly weighted on steelers.

This might be a mistake juice wise but the 3 books Im playing off each other are so far apart I cant resist.Just booked an additional2 units U 47.5 -1152 units O 44.5 -110I thought those numbers were good enough (arent 45 and 47 key numbers for totals?) to warrant the potential loss of juice, or stupid play here?

I think its good to look for scalps like this. In the end, I think i might want to be weighted on the over a little bit. Just going by what I'm seeing so far.

Huge NFL card today and I REALLY like a bunch of games. That usually means I'm in for an ### whipping. Here goes:Card's +7 -PUSHCowboys -2 (2 units) WINRams +6 -LOSSRams +200 ML (just under 1/3 unit) -LOSSTexans -7 -WINBucs +3 -LOSSBills -3 -LOSSGiants -6 -LOSSTB/NO over 49 -WINGB/St. L over 45 -WINNE/NYJ over 47 -WINOak/Jax under 44 1/2 -LOSS6 team 7 point teaser: LOSSNiners PK -WINCards +13 -WINTexans PK -WINGiants +1 -WINPats -4 -LOSSBears +17 team parlay with the spreads from above with -LOSSSF, AZ, NYG, BUF, HOU, TB, CHI7 point teaser -WINSF PKHOU PK6 point teaser -WINSF -1NYG PK9 team 7 point teaserAZ +14 -WINHOU PK -WINRAMS +13 -WINBOYS +5 -WINNYG +1 -WINBUCS +8 1/2 -WINJETS +18 -WINOAK +1 -WINCHI +1/2:)2012 NFL RECORD26-25-1 +1.66 units
Added a couple of late bets. Made the Cowboys a 2 unit play.Played the overs in both the GB/ST. L. game and the NO/TB game. And NYJ/NE over 47Oak/Jax under 44 1/2
7-6-1 on the day, but up about 1.2 units because of the multi unit play on Dallas.Need the Bears to win tomorrow night to hit my 9 team teaser that pays 12-1. I lockedin DET on the ML for +230. Bet enough to win back my initial bet on that 9 team teaser.

If MJD and Gabbert are both out, do we see our first more than -14 of the season with the Jags traveling to GB?

Thinking GB at the right number is a "drain the account" play Week 8.

Liked a few NCAA games out of the gate. 1 Unit each.

Fresno -12.5

W Ken -7

ND +10

And because I seem to like these two teams every week and they are playing Thur/Fri

Clemson -13

Nevada -3

Tied at 17. Bengals +100 for a quarter unit to cover play on steelers +220.
