Browns +13 this weekend?Call me crazy but the Broncos are due a clunker and the Browns have played pretty well the past seven or eight weeks. I'm not much for straight betting NFL games, but this one jumps out like few do to me.
i'm really high on Falcons -4. looks like it has trap written all over it, but Detroit getting blown out by Arizona has me thinking Atl wants to cement home field advantage this week
Lions are done, book it. Falcons win by double digits Thursday.
Lions are effed up. This is a game they will win, if only to screw themselves out of a better draft pick, which they will, in turn, undoubtedly botch anyway. Need an overhaul in a big way from the top down...
Short week and they had to travel from Arizona after a late game. I asked my best buddy who is a ridiculous ball of Lions knowledge (told me not to even tease them last week and he was right) and he said they are gonna get housed. They have nothing to play for, Schwartz is a disorganized/inept imbecile and the loss of Broyles and Titus has made the offense pedestrian. Atlanta should be favored by more than a TD. NE is 14 point favorites at JAx on a short week and the Falcons are -4 (+100) at the Lions who just lost to a team who had lost nine straight (including by 58 the week before).
Arizona's pass defense is very underrated. They forced 5 INTs against Ryan and beat Brady on the road. I know 38-10 to AZ looks like they quit, but they lost a muffed punt on their own 20, had an INT returned to their own 3, and AZ took an INT back for 102 yards. That was basically a 28 point swing there (7 for the first 2 turnovers and 14 for the last one). This was all after everyone thought they quit after losing 58-0 to a very tough team at home in Seattle playing after another road game all the way in New York.Atlanta is coming off a big win against the Giants. This just seems like a spot where -4 looks like free money based on the prior week results, but that has meant little this season. I would just tread cautiously.

These late season lines are filled with traps,

Oh and speaking of crooked lines, Panthers -9? I mean Oakland is ####### terrible and all, but the Panthers are pretty terrible also. I put them in my teasers but -9? I won't bet that one but something isn't right about that, maybe it's a trap within a trap.

Its so fishy, it prolly hits (panthers -9). Sort of like the East Carolina/Lafayette line. When the lines first came out, i jumped on the Pirates +6. Just looked funny to me. After handicapping the game further, I like the ragun cajuns. Line has moved over the last day and a half, moving from 6 to 6.5, then dropped hard from 6.5 to 5 last night/today. Not sure what to make of it. Trap within a trap is an interesting concept.

One of my favorite plays is CMU/W.Kentucky over 57.5. Confidence level strong. Good lean towards W. Kentucky -5.5. Will write it up tomorrow. Prolly going to open account with OUKurt on this one.

Edit: didn't quite get the quotes down right from DD.

These late season lines are filled with traps, this and the Browns game could be two such examples. But I'll take a double digit dog in Cleveland that I actually think is a decent team, and I'll fade a team that looks like they quit in the 2nd quarter of the Packers game two weeks ago. Atlanta gets no respect either so I think there is not only the homefield motivation but also perception. Even after they blasted the Giants last week everyone is talking about how bad the Giants are instead of how good the Falcons are.

this, and the fact that everybody is talking about SF and Sea, Atl is still not thought of as one of the big dogs yet
They aren't imho
oh, c'mon. Michael "burner" Turner is in the hizhouse this week!!!! I have about 8 fade bets against this loser, and he happens to get a TD almost every week. Like 20 yards rushing and 1 TD. If Detroit does anything on Saturday, at least have them stop fatty McGee from getting another TD

I get the sarcasm, but this is part of my point. Turner's last four roadies have resulted in 57 carries for 104, against the vaunted eagles, saints, Bucs, and panthers defenses. 1.8 YPC. Falcons are not elite.

Every year I go on a nice little hot NBA run and decide to start posting my plays in the thread.

Coming off a 6-1 record over the past week I'll post them here for tonight and they will all lose.

So.....great fade material....just because it's damn near tradition

Hawks +6.5

Cavs +7.5

Dude, did you tail me tonight? I was 14-4 the last 18 before tonight and I kept thinking, now that modogg isn't tailing me anymore I'm winning. Then I thought last night, now that I go large with a big card and I've been hot, modogg will probably jump back in and it will all go to hell :)

Which is exactly why I am afraid of ATL here. Sounds too good to be true. By the way, LOVE NO +3 v. Dallas on Sunday. NO has played much better of late, and Dallas is due for their late season collapse. NO's coaching situation left them in a no win situation this year, but the thought at the time was that NO would get better as the season came along. I think NO wins outright.

This is not fading the Lions for last week, this is fading them for an entire season. They are undisciplined, poorly coached and unmotivated. THEY DID quit against the Cardinals, just like they've quit a lot of other times this year. They are Calvin Johnson and a bunch of guys that lead the NFL in dropped passes, a mediocre defense and a QB that has taken two steps back.

You should be good. I saw the goal, and it was clearly Torres (e.g. not an own-goal, or deflecting off someone else).

Agreed... Tap in city:wub: Hazard

Hey guys, this is probably old news to most of you, but just a heads-up for those handicapping Miss Universe this year; Miss Puerto Rico is not actually from Puerto Rico. She was born in Holland of a Dutch father and Dominican mother. Also, Miss Australia is confirmed to be rested and in top form after after battling a nasty cold the past few days.

why did Sportsbook grade Torres bet as a loss? Do we each have to contact them to fix it or once they fix it for one person, will they fix for everyone?

Mine is graded as a win there. Never saw it posted as a loss, just pending.
that's really strange then because mine clearly says "WAGER LOST"Leeds United (H) vs Chelsea (A) - Any Time Goal Scorer - Own Goals Do not Count - (90 Min Only) - All Bets Action

Okay, system was god-awful last week, going 1 and ####### 5. All apologies. As such, I will definitely be revealing the "secret" tomorrow, when he spits 'em out.

Taking Texas +5 v. NC this evening. TX has won 14 straight at home v. non conference opponents and NC is allowing 83 PPG in 3 of last 4 and Texas is 5-0 at home this year.

I just have a feeling so I am going with it.

I had myself a monster workout session today, and then as soon as I got home and put my pj’s on.. here comes a booty call. I was all about just sitting in bed and watching the NCAA games tonight. I even had a whole rack of back ribs in the fridge ready to cook. Had the oven pre-heated and everything. Looks like I'm getting drunk tonight instead. :kicksrock:
