FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (5 Viewers)

Taking Texas +5 v. NC this evening. TX has won 14 straight at home v. non conference opponents and NC is allowing 83 PPG in 3 of last 4 and Texas is 5-0 at home this year. I just have a feeling so I am going with it. GLTAAB
Texas can D up.. only question was if they can score enough but UNC is turning the ball over quite a bit tonight.

West Virginia games have been prime for unders according to the numbers so far. The lines always hang tough all day and assuming the lines are geared to action on the over, the overs always seem to hit. I am 0-2 thus far on WVU unders. Cheers. 3-3 on the day.

CBBCornell +28 1/2W. Mich/Duquesne over 137Mt. St. Mary's +31Tenn-Martin -3 1/2E. Illinois +20 1/260-56-1 -.4 units

Hang in there homie. Are these system plays.
Kind of a mixture. I was working a system last year to some success and I'm still working it a little bit, also looking at some analysis sites and some of my own leans but they still need to meet at least one of the system criteria for me to make it a play.

Little Caesars Bowl. Detroit December 26th. Pitting the 6-6 Chippewas vs. the 7-5 Hilltoppers. First off, CMU is not really bowl worthy, but in this day and age, here they are. One quality win for the year over a very weak Iowa Hawkeye squad. 4-4 conference record with wins against akron, e.mich, miami (ohio), and umass. Those teams combined had 6 conference game wins(mostly against each other). They also lost to W.mich who were 2-6 in conference. When CMU played against the good teams from the MAC, they had double digit losses in all. My main point being, beside the anomaly of the Iowa game, this team got pasted from decent quality opponents(Toledo, N.ILL, Ball st, Navy, Mich st.). Ranked 98th in FBS points allowed. Their defense is a sieve. Run of the mill offense 56th rank FBS passing and a below average rushing attack (76th ranked).

The Hilltoppers also had a 4-4 conference record. 2 quality wins with upset of Kentucky and beating Sunbelt champion Arkansas st. They had some tough losses against good teams from their conference they could easily have won. Lost by 4 to a decent ragin cajuns team. By 5 to a solid Middle Tennessee St. squad, and by one point to LAMonroe in ot. One disappointing loss was to Florida Atlantic (which would have given them a 5-3 conference record and 8-4 overall). The team seemed to have a letdown after the Monroe OT loss. They did win their next game after that (Fla Int.) but seemed like they were deflated the rest of the yr. Losing 3 in a row down the stretch killed their chances of winning conference. They played well though against the best teams from their conference, whereas CMU got beat up by theres.

Other thoughts. Coaching change has brought Petrino back to W. Kentucky but the DC has assumed control of the coaching duties for this game. Willie Taggart left for South Florida. The man responsible for over 1/3 of the teams sacks (all conference Quanterus Smith)is out for the game, he will be missed. Antonio Andrews is the stud RB/KR who will probably have a huge day. He's looking to break the NCAA record for all purpose yds held by Barry Sanders. Wouldn't be surprised to see him run one back. Hilltoppers were a nice 8-4 ATS whereas CMU was 5-7. Hilltoppers 21-7 ATS their last 28 games while CMU is 8-24 in their last 32 games ATS. My prediction....Hilltoppers -5.5 and Over 57.5(line is dropping in someplaces). Lets say 44-31 final.

Wife had this happen yesterday with some person buying 300 dollars worth of shoes in California. She cut her credit card in half after she got the call. Good thing she's done with her christmas shopping, though i suppose she would just whip another card out if necessary.

Only one CBB play tonight:

Cal-Poly +9 1/2

60-60-2 -4.4 units

Bowl Season resumes and I have one play tonight:

BYU/SDSU under 48 one full unit

3-1 +.85 units

How exactly would one win a 14000 person survivor pool? I'm not about to do the math, but seems like there would be a bunch left after week 17. Pick all week 17 games in order? Go through playoffs? Split it somehow?

We seriously need wagering on sports to just get legalized already. I thought democrats were pro-gaming, at least less against it than R's. Without getting all political thread-y, I'm rooting for Obama to go ahead and get this done. Stories like this are absurd. /rant

Weekend Bowl action:

BYU/SDSU UNDER 49

Autoplays:

Ball State +8.5

Boise State/Washington OVER 46.5 (you can get this at 45 now btw)

Nothing on ECU/ULL yet, will have to look into that game a little deeper tonight or tomorrow. May have a first half play, we'll see.

Big decision tomorrow in NJ that could get things rolling. If NJ can ignore the federal law it paves the way for other states.

I would think an ATS survivor pool could weed through 14000 rather quickly. It looks like the numbers conveyed to me a few years ago were inflated or this is a different pool. Either way, I want in next year.

Why is anyone against it? Instead of bringing money into a government that severely needs it, we allow Americans to get ripped off on a daily basis. It seems like nobody in America is winning with the current way things are. People are going to bet either way and why go after people that actually pay their customers? Common sense should prevail.

I'm sure they will return the money to everyone in the pool. After all that's the right thing to do.i swear these c0ps have nothing better to do like prevent nut jobs from shooting up schools. It's like the Mob with these guys now. Well out OT budget is $200K in the red..... well I know this guy who has $250K in cash. We can use the $50K in OT and then seize the money.

I guarantee you if you made the mistake of giving me your CC, and I decided I was going to screw you over, McDonalds isn't the place I'm going first.

I parlayed the Aztecs tonight with the Mayans tomorrow. And the Mayans tomorrow with Pascal's wager the next day.

Remember that one time, at band camp, when BYU TOTALLY ####ED me and I bet my entire bankroll on them and they didn't cover?! We might go out in flames with the Mormons again tonight. Just put a unit on the first half under 24. Already have a unit on the total under 48. I might play this every freaking quarter tonight. Go team?

SDST can run the ball well but BYU is good at stopping the run. BYU wasnt good on the road this year but is the more physical team. Not sure which way to go on this one.. leaning SDST but believe I'll lay off.
