Anyone around with leans on USC /Cal and/or Utah St./ UNLV? halftime?
I'm the degenerate of the degenerates.

Looks like that Houston/Sac game hit 217 on the number...no loss by not playing it. OKC covered +6.5 easily. If PHX can keep hitting 3s our Indy/under may be in trouble...lots of time left, though.
I #### the bed on this game. Sorry bud. Pretty sure Indy was out drinking at asu all night.
don't worry, i made it much worse trying to live bet. Why the hell are these mother ####ers shooting 3's and making them when the game has been over awhile ago. . back to a few day break from gambling

Never understand how you people bet the NBA.
that game was just stupid, and the 4th Q was just senseless. I hate when bench players get in during a blow out and decide to show off and hit 3's for no reason at all. These idiots are up by over 20 points, and shooting 3's and running fast break offense.

I been playing ps3 since before the game started. Me and my buddy been playing GTA 5 and I forgot to make any bets.
good call. and those games are just dangerous. there is nothing like playing that game for a few nights, and then driving the next day. You feel like you can just dominate the road like it is nothing.

I've never played a second of the gta series.

I am pretty sure I'm still the best player in the world in the 1st Tony Hawk PS game and I've wasted months of my life in the final fantasy series. I actually am saddened by my lack of gaming these past 10 years.

I was making decent money off phx early on but when their guard got hurt I laid off of them. Maybe I need to start paying attn again. Jeff H has them playing well this yr.

See that Toronto came back from a 21pt 1st quarter deficit to win? Figures.

Nice hit!

Also. Dr Vs magical putter. What a story. I think I'll buy the oracle just bc of that story.
This might as well be written in Swahili. No clue what's going on in this post.

Crazy story on Grantland last week that was universally praised for 2 days before all hell broke loose on the interwebs.
Sorry fellas. It's the last thing that was on my wine soaked mind last night. If you're so inclined to read something, check it out. It kinda shocked me that I was so insensitive about the situation that when I initially read the article it didn't alarm me at all and I thought it was well done. Reading some of the reaction has made me recoil about my own initial reaction.

In turn i'm pretty excited that I have a foot in the door of learning to speak Swahili. Lets kufanya fedha!

Nice hit!
Thanks. I just got back from a friends 40th, was half in the bag and wanted to bet something. That usually has a horrible outcome.

WAWRINKA!

I'm pretty sure that the very definition of happiness is an ATP final that features a 20/1 vs a 50/1 that you have futures invested in both. Lets go Roger!

where are you teasing these....and are you just alternating Den and SEa?

@AdamSchefter: Soprano Renee Fleming will sing the National Anthem as part of Super Bowl XLVIII pregame festivities.

Ok men - what do we know about him/her. We need a time.
Over
Just perused a number of opera singers doing national anthems at sporting events (non-sporting events tend to be much shorter).

Here's the sampling:

1:33

1:38

1:42

1:47

1:52

1:58

In short, all over the board. The 1:58 is here

That's a big number. Check out the 1:58. She wasn't exactly blasting through it...

I'm taking Seattle with whatever the final points are, Seattle ML, Under, and every combination of those three parlayed and teased.

I'll take under on every Denver team and player prop.

This might be the first Super Bowl that ends in a shut-out,

Seattle 35-0, with two defensive scores.

We get it. Pats fan that doesn't like Manning. Thanks for your input

mostly 5dimes because they have more options and generally the best odds

but I also have some at Bovada because they keep hanging SEA +3 out there that you can tease up to 10.

Just trying to hit some key numbers and balance them out a bit. +10, +7, +4, +3.

I like Seattle with the points more but don't want to be too heavy on that side yet.

I might pick a side and bet the game in Vegas this weekend as well, plus I'm sure I'll play a ton of props.

Friendly reminder to those depositing at online sportsbooks. Call first or get on live chat and push for better bonuses. This time of year it's pretty easy to get really good bonuses.
So sportsbook won't let me do the deposit bonus b/c I have a current withdrawl outstanding. Sucks, but understandable

If it wasn't being played in 10 degree weather with wind and maybe snow, I'd give them a chance. But with those elements and that defense, I don't see Denver being very productive,

Interesting guest blog post on nropp's site today, dismissing the notion of trap games and revenge games. I like this, because I ignore things like revenge or trap games. Of course, he also dismisses smaller mismatches like a good offensive rebounding team vs. a bad defensive rebounding team, and I use that kind of stuff a lot in my analysis. Basically his research says the better team wins. But somehow it still seemed interesting to me.

And the myth continues...

It's funny because nropp had a 10* revenge game last year.

Giving them a chance and suggesting they will be shut out are two different things. Right now the 10 day forecast looks like in the 30s with low chance of precip and winds under 10 mph

Dude, if you are serious, here are the Bovada.com margin of victory odds:

Margin of Victory

Seattle Seahawks 1 to 6 points 15/4

Seattle Seahawks 7 to 12 points 5/1

Seattle Seahawks 13 to 18 points 8/1

Seattle Seahawks 19 to 24 points 16/1

Seattle Seahawks 25 to 30 points 28/1

Seattle Seahawks 31 to 36 points 40/1

Seattle Seahawks 37 or more points 33/1

Maybe they both lost, that would explain why they don't like them anymore.

Revenge games were an nropp thing. It seems like this guest of his is a bit more sophisticated.

Yeah this was a guest blog. And yes, he is 0-2 the last two years on 10 unit revenge games, as far as I know. I remember this year's because he was on WVU and I posted and played Gonzaga, then read his 10 unit play and was like, "Oh #### what am I missing" and then read his reasoning and it was 100% about revenge and 0% about the players and so I wasn't scared anymore.
