FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Steve Stevens logic ... explaining why he just told his client to bet the under 61 in the UW/UCLA game:

"UCLA has a great pass rush. I don't see Washington scoring AT... ALL....!"

UCLA was only laying 3.

If you don't see Washington scoring AT... ALL...., why not just bet UCLA -3?

Final score: UCLA 41, Washington 31

I'm not even halfway through yet, but some bullet points I don't want to forget:

"Out of a hundred games, I'm gonna hit 66 of 'em!"

Steve's incompetent friend/employee: "My boss, uhhh, Steve Stevens, he, uhhhh, talks to scouts." :lmao:

On a personal note, his blonde bookkeeper must have been a smokeshow in her early 20s.

OMG, I'm in tears. Pirelli's latest "big client" comes into town. He came with $1,000 and already lost half of it on blackjack.

"He's got $500, so I figure why not put it all on the first game!"

:lmao:  :lmao:

Best.... show.... EVER!!!

You guys got anything in these two hideous day games? I'm not laying -240 with the Tigers, so that leaves us with Masterson or one of the totals.

Here I sit, roughly 7-hours prior to the beginning of The Players Championship, settling in to give you what it is that I have come up with, and believe me, I am going to save the pomp and circumstance and get right to the nuts and bolts.Great tournament. 5th Major. Probably the best field of any event in the world all year. Greens are in crappy shape due to the very cold and wet winter back east this year. Three holes; 4, 11, and 12, were not even available to play during practice rounds as they tried to salvage as much as possible with each and every putting surface on the golf course. Ball striking. Greens In Regulation. Driving accuracy. Scrambling. This is not a Bubba Watson paradise, this is more of a water and bunker laden Florida test of small Pete Dye greens, island greens even as we all so well know about the famous 17th hole. Look for players that did well at another coastal Pete Dye design with small greens, a.k.a. Harbour Town just a few weeks back, to also do well at this semi-coastal Dye masterpiece.. and with the greens being pretty shabby, I am not leaning as much on putting as I am on experience and knowing what these greens are supposed to do. So here are my plays and I while I do consider these top plays, I am not putting up a Premium Package for this because my time has been stretched and I also put up a goose egg on the diamonds today. I owe y'all some winners. Here we go..

Head to Head Match Ups for the whole tournament..

Jordan Spieth (-115) over Bubba Watson

Luke Donald (-105) over Justin Rose

Sergio Garcia (-140) over Phil Mickelson

Jim Furyk (-130) over Phil Mickelson

Henrik Stenson (+100) over Justin Rose

I also considered Kevin Na over Jason Dufner and JB Holmes over Patrick Reed but I am staying away from both of these.

If I had to make a future play, I would take a shot with Jim Furyk and roughly 30-1.

Thank you and have fun, Gang.

If I remember right half this thread was on the over. The Washington QB broke his leg and this still went way over.

FAIR ENOUGH?!

If your book offers e-sports betting, I'm fading C9 all weekend of the League of Legends All-Star Invitational.

:degenerate:

(btw, you'd only be able to scout mechanical skill of individual laners with last year's footage. This is a completely different patch/style of play)

Vegas is kind of stupid.

according to twitter, Caesars has the odds on US winning the World Cup posted at 7/1

they are 255:1 at 5d

AnonymousGamblr ‏@AnonymousGamblr 3m
Think of it like this, for the uninformed. For every $1 that Caesars takes on #USMNT they owe $8 should #USMNT win (use your imagination)

AnonymousGamblr ‏@AnonymousGamblr 2m
Now, Caesars can take that $1 risked, and reinvest it in England (they have properties there) at a minimum of 125/1.

AnonymousGamblr ‏@AnonymousGamblr 51s
So #USMNT wins, Caesars owes Gambler A $8, while random Euro Sportsbook owes Caesars $126.

No sir. I believe I have a good bet(s) and I'm sticking with it.

Taking 1U on both Watkins O4.5 +240 and RB in the 1st round +510 just to have some dogs to root for and hoping something crazy happens to cash one of those. Also going 2U on the Phils +132 tonight, AJ's looked solid so far, RAD not so much, and hopefully the Phils get their heads out of the sand tonight and avoid a sweep.

The correct answer is: "I locked in profits when I made these bets". YWIW HTH #hashtag

I have been looking at the .5 RB line for 2 days. Also starting to really consider under 3.5 QBs in round 1.

I suppose Ruds has a leg up in this area, why don't you urinate on us the knowledge about these 2 plays sir if you don't mind.

I've done way less draft research this year than ever before. I don't know but it does seem like no RBs in round 1 is likely to me. As for QBs, seems pretty likely that Manziel, Bridgewater, and Bortles will go in round 1. Then you're left sweating whether someone likes Carr enough to take him late in the round.

John Clayton seems to think there will be 4 taken: http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2014/story/_/id/10891552/2014-nfl-draft-expect-big-trades-plenty-qb-drama

All I got is that I've seen Hyde as high as 35, so I'll take 5/1+ there. I don't think it's too much of a reach to see Watkins go to Oakland at 5, thus cashing the Watkins bet if Clowney, Robinson, Mack go in order and Cleveland takes Johnny Hero or Mathews. Or a trade of some sort shakes things up, long shot odds for a reason but it's really a bet on the draft not going as everyone expects.
