FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Ohhhhhh Joe Nathan.
Yeah....loved seeing this as I had grabbed the Tigers +130 in live betting and thought to my self when I turned away from my computer...watch him give up a 2 run bomb.
Pretty sure the Indians are all out of relievers. So you're in good shape if this goes awhile.
Or Not....lol
:coffee:
Disregard. :bag:

Phil Coke happened.

Thought of this very specific angle the other day: What about fading curveball-reliant starters who are going in Coors? I believe that research (and anecdotal evidence) has shown that curveballs really aren't that effective up there, whereas sliders/cutters aren't hurt as badly.

Either a curve-reliant guy is going to have worse curves, or he's going to go away from it and rely more on his lesser pitches. Will do some more digging on this later, but it's something that's probably too granular for books to take into account. I hope.

Had I followed my initial instinct and put big money on Max today, I cannot even fathom how pissed I'd be losing in that fashion.

- Miggy gets thrown out of the game.

- Nathan with a blown save up by 2.

- Coke with a blown save a few innings later.

- Balk ends the game.

:loco:

I just followed by "tail Chainsaw" instinct and all of that #### worked in my favor

So I heard hockey and over basketball is happnin tonight. Whatchoo got puckfaces?

Any thoughts on Spurs/Thunder? Spurs giving 5.5. Not really confident enough on anything here. Might like the over at 210, but not that excited about it...

Indy looks decent plus 7 on Saturday. Really hoping this goes 7 so I can lay a monster on Miami that game.

Chicks make the time pass by fast. You should have seen the tall girl at the gym today. She is probably 6'2" around 160-170 lbs. Low body fat, but thick throughout her hips and legs. She has toned shoulders and a butt that she barely covers up with her little daisy duke sport shorts. You can almost make out the crease at the bottom of the butt cheek. She is all business too, which is sexy. With a tall girl like that you just kind of sit back and wonder how far up in there you think you can get.

That umpire in SD is 2-12 O/U in his career against a total of 6.5.

Twins are 5-0 L5 Hughes starts with opponent run totals of 3,3,2,1,3. The O/U in those games is 1-4. Average line in those five games: 137.8. Avg total: 8.1.

Since 2008 (entire database) the Twins are 4-0 SU at San Diego against an average line of 132.

They have played four games there since 2004: three in 2008 and then the one yesterday.

Buchholz used to be good or something, right?
I don't know. I can say that I work for a company that donated more money to the Jimmy Fund then the other if company in Boston last year so they sent Clay over to give a little speech and sign some baseballs. The bad news was he gave a 30 second speech and had a difficult time dealing with people. The good news is his wife was a 11, stunning.

Buchholz has masqueraded as a decent pitcher thanks to some oddly low LD%/BABIP rates up until 2013, when he was legit good AND lucky (4.5% HR/FB rate!). This year he's a little worse (K's and SwStrk% down), but his BABIP is crazy high.

He's not as bad as he looks, but he's not going to get back to his surface numbers last year either.
