FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (15 Viewers)

i see # 10 team in the country, Arizona, AT home, playing unranked team, USC, yet the are a home dog???

very, very odd to me.
Hmmm...

@teddy_covers

$$ showing for Arizona. Wildcats now pick 'em or even -1 at some books. USC opened as high as -3.5
You duders playing a side on this one? I'm on a total wager in this one already (betcha cant guess which one i'm on), may add a side for flava.
I am taking the over 66

Light day for me.

Need the usc/zona over 66 to round out the only play of the day. A 3 team parlay. I could lock in some profit but what fun is that?

My brother just texted me that Aguayo is watching the LSU/UF game in his apartment with him. I mean..he's just a kicker but he's a really good one!

Top 5 guys in hilton contest all took MIA
Mia-? vs GB?
yep

3 took Buf. Rest pretty well spread.

Top 5 selections entire field.....

Mia 468

NYG 459

Buf 393

SD 386

Den 360
that is interesting. I didn't think GB would be that much of a public play, but impressive all 5 on Miami. I do like the Buff call though. Anybody taking Carolina?
I'm on Miami and Buffalo, but not Carolina.

hmm. I don't see the angle with Miami, but I guess it could make sense with Miami coming off a bye and Green Bay on the road after 2 divisional opponents. But Green Bay just seems to be hitting their stride. I thought Bengals were the pay last week with 2 weeks to prepare for New England too.

All I know is go Cincy!! I will be a sad little pup when i lose out of this survivor contest i am in like every year.

Moral of the story is that you will never win playing garbage team trends. Guess what, for every trend you show for/against a team, I can produce likewise for their opponent. You're trying to use a mousetrap to kill something that people with atomic bombs can't kill.
Can you show us anything you have contributed to the thread besides personal opinion before calling other dudes' info "garbage?" What the hell, dude. TF was just telling you a story about his day yesterday.
:goodposting:

I post my leans, but generally don't back them up with stats unless I have them. Guys in here doing the lord's work pouring over stats and trends that are meaningful and have won over time, don't dismiss their hard work in here please.
The folks who never contribute anything seem to be the most critical. Keep adding to my like-count though.

Like TCU-SMU over 47.5

I know SMU is terrible but with a 32.5 line, shouldn't they score at least some garbage points?
Currently 14,000 bets made on this game.87% are on TCU to cover the spread, making this a contrarian play.

There is no corresponding reverse line movement.

PASS
Do they have any NCAA player projections?
No sir.Just betting data collected from 12 major books in real time.
Yeah, I'm sure "12 major books" just open their records so that joe blow can use that data to come and own them.

GTFOH
Wow, this guy is "Mr. Happy"

I honestly didn't know he existed before today.

Jalapanose has posted two plays in here total and has one win (an early season Jays game) and one loss (Zona -3 in the tourney against Wisky). Much more time spent in his 40 total posts being generally ####ty and disagreeing with other people, including calling lumpy a shill for encouraging people to cash in on free bets/bonuses.

Put yr dukes down, dude. It's OK to disagree with people without being a ####-mouth. TIA.

Passive-aggressively liking my posts where I lament losing a play is such a cowardly, weasel move. If you have something to say, say it.

Or FOAD... either way works.

Dallas gets throttled tomorrow, doubling down my losing Saturday on Seattle.
 this play, in for 2U. -8 is generally a sort of scary number to lay in the NFL, but it doesn't scare me in this case. Could see Romo having a total melt down in CenturyLink against that defense, and Wilson running all over that defense.

I thought lumpy was the only guy who likes that jalapanose guy. Apparently, he's super sharp but prefers to #### on everybody than post anything helpful.

ban hammer imo
I've been spending the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how to pronounce his name, and then trying to figure out what it means. I'm still working on it..............
Jalapenos, like the hot as hell pepper in plural. All I got.

Mo, praying your avatar can miracle his way into cashing that OROTY, holding hope!

Yeah same here. Alos just joined you and Billy on Seattle. Got them in a bunch of teasers and other random things, but joined straight against the spread too.

As for OROTY - i don't know if anyone has done much to lay claim to it yet. I think if you had to give it to someone right now I think my 2nd biggest pick, Kelvin Benjamin gets it. After that, I think still wide open. Teddy makes me nervous because he has a lot of media love, and has weapons there too. Still not too worried about any of the RBs, but i keep hearing how Watkins, Cook and Odell Beckham are still the favorites. So, just silly talk so far. we will see in the coming weeks. Carr is due to start getting some wins. Stealing that one from New England would have been clutch

Great post, I'm with you man. Teddy scares me the most with the QB bias in voting on OROTY, think if he plays well he's a lock. RB/WR no one has separated clearly from the pack yet, lots of time left though. Still awesomeness that Carr is the clear Week 1 guy and getting all the game experience, hope it ramps into something to keep up with Teddy.

Sup Mo. The situation is Green Bay coming of three division games and travelling to play out of conference (Sharps Report>Hi). Since 1996 that situation results in: 20-35-0 SU (.364) and 24-30-1 ATS (.444) against an average line of 2.6. Narrowed down to the favorites you get 8-8 SU and 6-10 ATS (avg line -4.2). And then you have Green Bay's history playing in Florida:

Old trend alert, because the last time the Packers went to Florida to play football was Nov 08, 2009. But they have gone 3-9 SU and 4-8 ATS (avg line +1) in Florida since 1998. They are 0-3 SU and ATS in Florida (avg line -3.7) since Favre left. Home dogs of 3 or less coming off a bye are 19-20 SU and 19-19-1 ATS since 1998, so you might not need the 3 points with Miami if that's the side you want.
It's definitely a weird situation, but I think you might be right and wouldn't fade the Packers - people might be reading too much into the situation. It's also easy to fade the Pack because you always see them on TV playing in the snow. I think Miami off the bye probably holds more weight than anything, but haven't done anything to be able to back that up. And again, like Sharps Report said, public love Rogers at the low price. We will know soon enough though.

Percentage and consensus data is still alive and well at SBR, but the total volume seems like it's fallen off. A lot fewer commas in the numbers this week.

91 degrees and humid in Miami tomorrow too. Could be a factor.

would have to think benjamin has the early lead and WIDE open after that. Sankey could start sneaking into the picture this week as he might finally have a chance to do something. ####### Wisenhunt with his footwork

not sure what the closing lines were but the ones made from friday night were 1-2 in rush system and 1-3 for the week with BYU loss on Thursday

Texas - Win

Wyoming - Loss

Northwestern - Loss
