FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

Since last season, the sandwich game between the same division rival is 8-1-1 O/U. The Seahawks and Eagles are both in that situation. Also, the Seahawks are double-stuf sandwiched between Arizona and San Francisco this week. That has happened four times since 1989 - all stuffed between division rivals. Those teams went 0-4 SU and ATS against an average line of 1.6.

Eagles -1 -110

o48 -110
ugh, really really liked SEA this week
I teased them when it was +1.5 to +7.5, could see the Eagles winning but not by 2 possessions. Hate advocating buying anything on a teaser, but Seahawks and 49ers I love in a 2-teamer this week.

That's what I was going to say. It's possible you liked them in a teaser. For what it's worth, the Seahawks are 9-6 SU and 9-5-1 ATS in the Eastern time zone since 2011. They haven't lost a game in the EST by more than 6 points since week 2 of that 2011 season, a 24-0 shutout at Pittsburgh. A 6-point teaser netted you a 12-2-1 (.857) ATS record in those 15 games. And seven is a good number to have in the NFL.

I know, but this is Mark Sanchez were talking about here.

All stats have to go out the window, no?

I don't think so. I'm backing him and looking forward to it. Not risking my life or anything. Kid capper boy wonder is on the Seahawks in here too, and starting QB is what he usually bases his plays on from what I can tell. I did a search on Sanchez looking for his angle and I see your Tuesday writeup now. I had not seen it before. I think the sandwich game angle - playing ARI,SF before this game and then SF,ARI after this game is strong. Not for just the division rival factor but just how hard SF and ARI hit on defense. I can see your point on Sanchez being a fade candidate, and Seattle did look good on defense on Thursday (national tv), and also in the week before only allowing three points at home to the Cardinals. I'm not afraid though.

Cool appreciate it. Just wish you were on Seattle side. I would feel better about myself.

Cavs +165 @ toronto. Toronto first game back after west coast trip, included back to backs tuesday and wednesday. Not gonna be many times the cavs are gonna be underdogs this year, either.

Catching up on everything I just realized the Pats have been in California practicing at the University of San Diego since Wednesday.

The Cavs are truly a 50-50 proposition this year. Either playing great or crappy. +165 is a good play

Wait, wrong thread

was also thinking of throwing some money away on non-NFL tonight

small parlay on 1st half of the Texas/Kentucky game. Texas +7 and under 57. I figure if it goes under then texas has a nice chance to cover the 7. Could also parlay the full game, but I am impatient.

Arizona State +14. I HAVE to at least put something on this.

ok, back to my own thread.

Stanford in a few of those games though right? Might skew the numbers a bit since they play a little different style than most of the PAC10
Good catch, that is a really good point. Stanford won both of those games and allowed an average of 10.5,3.5,5.0,0.0 points per quarter. And in Oregon's game in 2011, they were up 49-24 going into the 4Q, and I guess didn't need to score in the 4Q and allowed UCLA to score a meaningless TD. It gets easily skewed with the three-game sample. I am playing the 1Q over in that one.
You getting 17 for 1Q?

Why do we allow the UFC wagering thread? THIS is the wagering thread.....ghostguy starts an NFL wagering thread and we pounce....yet the UFC wagering thread is thriving.

Feels like it's time to show them who's boss and start some NFL talk in there to mix things up.
You don't remember why we started that Lump? It was when we used to discuss MMA fights in here (and it is the MMA wagering thread, not UFC wagering thread noob :nerd: ), and we wouldn't just post we would talk about them. It used to clog up the thread a little, so we created the MMA wagering thread. Really, it should probably just be the MMA thread, since it is really just MMA talk and not a ton of wagering in there

Chromecast came in the mail today. Thing is pretty sweet. I might spring for league pass. Anybody have experience with streaming via LP vs. free streaming sites? Particularly regarding picture quality and streaming interruption.

Yeah but you got some weather in that game. According to ABC 7 News weekday Morning & Midday Meteorologist Mike Nicco you'll have 1H rain that tapers off during the 2H. I think you got a grass field at Levi's Stadium there in Santa Clara but no idea how to get official field condition info. I see Pinny is listing o14 -150 and BM has o17 115.

Yeah I remember. .....I'm tasking u with tracking down Zander and removing wagering from the thread title or I'm going to start posting all my curling plays in there

I'm hoping he's wrong on the other half of that. I was about to post SEA/PHI u48.5 (SB) as my Total of the Year!®

So what's the feeling on the bull-ring nose piercings? Our baby sitter who's now 2nd year in college has one and I see Sparks has one too.

You like or you no like?

So a buddy on FB just started a debate, what would it take - current players and draft picks, to wrassle the Mariota pick away from the Raiders for the Eagles, if Chip is ready to go all in for Marcus?

It's a good sports radio type discussion, since it would take either a total team dismantlement or an RG3 type picks trade to make it happen with the Eagles in the playoff hunt.

I proposed McCoy, Ertz, 2015 1st, 2016 2nd for a potential franchise QB in Marcus, in terms of what it'd take to get him from a 1-11 team. I HATE all angles of that, and would rather trade a 4th or so for RG3 and call it a wash if he never recovers and do that instead if the Skins were willing to do a deal. Heck, we traded them McNabb.

P.S. - Nice TD to start things off :banned:

Shady would have to go to a team that's ready to win now. He'd do nothing for a 1-win team. It would take a Ricky Williams/Redskins trade. Your entire 2015 draft, plus a #1 in 2016 and a #2 in 2017.

That's exactly what I was thinking/afraid of. It would be awesome to get a trade together to net Mariota, but you never know how the guy will pan out. Trading that much real estate is something I'm vehemently against. I'd do an RG3 reclamation deal for even a slight premium on market price all day over blowing the roster up for a QB you hope will pan out at the NFL level, college talent shown as a given in Chip's system. Else, I'd just sit pat and draft defense.

Hit a $7.00 wins $70.00 parlay earlier betting on 1st and 2nd half basketball spreads. Seems like my book has a hard time figuring these out. I've hit on a few +200 lines today.

Pushed on a +300 Suns 2nd Half ML that would have resulted in a big day for me, would have completed 2 more parlays. This is going to be my thing for awhile. Made decent money off the Cavs and Hawks tonight. Warriors helped me out too.

Nice job icon

I'm not going to lie. I'm only 23 years old, if the smartest brains in this thread could impart their wisdom onto me so I could spend the next 20 years snorting cocaine off of hot women, I'd be eternally in debt.

I can contribute to the process. I know for the most part this is every man for themselves but I don't want to work a real job.

You think anyone in this thread is rolling around in cash snorting Coke off hookers? Lol
