Action junkie late pucks:

Sharks -140(60min)

Oilers just beat the Sharks in the first half of a home and home. Sharks home tonight looking for a little payback. Why not.

Action Junkie NBA Tuesday

The Raps are travelling to play B2B after an overtime game at home. Since last season, teams in that situation are 2-9 SU and ATS (avg line 4.7) and 10-1 to the over. The lone under in that situation also happened to be the lowest lined total of those 11 games - a Cavs/Bulls game in Chicago last season. Coming off the overtime win in that situation, as the Raps are doing tonight, teams went 0-7 SU, 1-6 ATS and 6-1 O/U, losing by an average margin of 10 ±4 points per game (the current line is Cleveland -6). In those 11 games the home team was often also playing in their second game of a B2B (avg rest 0.6 ± 0.8 days), as the Cavs are doing tonight.

In the late game it's no secret that the Kings are without Cousins - who has viral meningitis and has missed their L6 games, and is out "indefinitely" according to the HC. The Kings are 2-4 SU and ATS in those L6 games losing by margins of 8,12,8,9. They beat the Pacers by 1 point in a B2B for the Pacers and beat Utah (0-9 SU L9) last night by 9. That makes the Kings 2-18 SU L20 without Cousins in the lineup, according to the ESPN preview. I watched the game last night holding Kings o101 and 2H u55 and it was pretty much a toss-up all the way through. I would lean over tonight since the Kings are 4-2 O/U without Cousins - the two unders coming last night thanks to Utah, and in a home game versus the Griz who are 7-3 to the under away from home. This just for some action.

Cavs/Lakers 100/115

Raptors/Cavs o206 110/100
Nice job on the ML parlay.

In one game Manziel will throw more TDs to WRs than Smith has all year. Of course that could just be 1.

You east coasters enjoying the weather today? Freakin monsoon out here!

I unfortunately (today) chose to walk for a living.
Usps postal worker?
That's me. Didn't we go around the room at one time and tell each other a bit about ourselves, or am I imagining things? Aren't you an engineer of some sort?

Could even run for as many TD's in one game as Smith has all year too. I think Maurile is really missing the boat on his 2 carries for 8 yards rushing projection for Manziel.

"Georgetown will host No. 10 Kansas on Wednesday, seeking to avenge a blowout loss last season." Since the 2011 season GT is 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in revenge games at home (9-0 SU and 8-1 ATS L9; avg line -4). The under went 7-3 in those L10 games in that situation.

GT -1 -120

Odds and ends

• Prominent offshore sportsbook PinnacleSports offered a prop bet on whether Ohio State would make the playoff. The Buckeyes were around a minus-300 favorite to be selected for most of Sunday morning, although the odds fluctuated down to minus-285 roughly 30 minutes before the announcement, before eventually closing at minus-330. A spokesman for Pinnacle told ESPN that 57 percent of the bets were against the Buckeyes getting selected.

• Six teams -- Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Marshall, Oklahoma and Oregon -- were favored in every game this season.

• New Mexico State and Southern Methodist were the only teams to be an underdog in every game this season.

• Behind Oregon's eight-game covering streak, Texas State and Georgia Tech each finished with six straight covers.

• San Jose State and New Mexico State failed to cover the spread in their last six games, the longest such streaks in the nation. Notre Dame failed to cover in its last five games.

• Eleven of Ohio State's 13 games went over the total.

• Eleven of San Diego State's 12 games stayed under the total.

Action junkie NCAA Salt n Peppa don't Push It special:
Since last season Utah is 1-5 SU, 2-2-2 ATS, and 1-4-1 O/U as the underdog up to 4 points (avg line 2.8), with half of those games going into overtime. The SU win was by 17 points at home against BYU (-2.5). The losses were by margins of 2,2,4,4,4 - they're 2-9 SU since last season (1-2 SU this year) in games decided by 4 points or less. BYU is 22-2 SU at home since last season.

Since the 2008 season, BYU laying 5 or less at home is 7-7 SU and ATS with an O/U of 9-5 (.643). When you narrow those down to non-conference: 4-4 SU and ATS with an O/U of 7-1 (.875), the lone under happening to be the highest of the lined totals (161) v IONA on Mar 13, 2012. During that same time BYU as the favorite laying 5 or less in non-conference play, regardless of venue: 10-4 (.714) O/U (avg total 151) with average points scored 159 ±15. Those games went 7-0 to the over when they were lined less than 150 (avg total 144).

Utah/BYU o147 -110

Also, my bad for not posting earlier, but this is the disclaimer on the NCABB database right now: "Use with caution: NCAABB Database is in beta testing. Some team names are not entered consistently."

Anyone on Kentucky o33-1/2(-125) 1st half against a Columbia team down a couple of players? Also like them -15-1/2 1st half(-110). Anyone look into this game yet?

I'm not sure what book he mirrors but we found out my local today still has what appears to be preseason NHL division winner odds

I.e. first place redwings +900

Might be worth doublechecking your book to see if you can find any similar value
