I was targeting Schaub in both of the drafts I've done so far and he went in the 8th in the 1st one and in the 6th in the 2nd. If you're not looking for Romo, Brady Brees or Manning, start seriously considering them in the 4th because they're about to fly off the board if they haven't already.Has any one else seen this is or is this just a fluke that I've seen it in both of my two drafts so far?

Also, it sounds crazy but is anybody being careful with the kicker they pick? With negative points for missed field goals, I picked the kicker with best percentage made. I don't like the idea of losing points because a kicker missed a field goal, especialy long field goals.

I wasn't too concerned about it. I just waited until near the end of the draft and took the highest rated K left.

They revised the prize schedule today, so this thing is definitely on. 1st is still $1 million but other prizes have been lowered:

Looks pretty reasonable to me, they're still paying out about $1.35 million overall not including the league prizes. My league filled last night and drafts tomorrow, it's #302. So it looks like they'll be lucky to hit 1000 leagues which would equal about a 135% payout.

Best value I'm seeing is DeAngelo Williams- 9th or 10th round.

Not many guys in my draft picked handcuffs- got Chester the Molester with the first pick of the 13th round- can't beat that for a guy who'll produce as a backup and is one injury away from a primary guy with a good O-line. First 4-6 QBs look like they are going high, but the next round they seem low considering that you can start them at the flex spot.

I see some very early (3rd & 4th rounds) pick ups of guys I was targeting a round later which has me worried a little. However using my strategy for tonight I also see a lot of value that dropped down into rounds 5 & 6 to replace my targeted picks.

That would be me I really wanted to have 2-3 quality QB's to use a QB at the flex so I was pretty happy to get Palmer at the 2-3 turn, big dropoff after him. I took Winslow instead of Witten at 4-5 because of the Week 10 championship game. I though Edge, Young, and Ricky were all pretty good value picks too. Team 7 concerned me at first when he got Brady/Wayne/Jacobs right off the bat but he blew it later by never getting a decent 2nd QB or 3rd RB. Draft Dominator has me as having the best team strength by 200 points but if you don't have the best team according to your own projection system after getting the 1st pick then you've really screwed up.

No offense to anyone in this thread who has drafted these players but with such a shortened season, why would you draft any players you know are on suspension? I was very tempted to grab Brandon Marshal or Steve Smith but knowing that I would not be using them for the first couple of weeks really soured my opinion on them. In a regular 12-4 week regular season, a team could weather the games they are suspended for but with only nine regular season games, it seems really risky. Again, not harping on anyone. If you can get them at a really good value, it'll help in those other brackets but I think it really hurts your chance at the million bracket.

Edited this comment in, but I know I drafted Manning first and now that I can assess the whole draft, I should have drafted SJax first and drafted my second QB later on. Peyton's knee is something that's on my mind and hopefully he rebounds fast and hits on all cylinders.

I was hoping for Calvin Johnson at 6 and ended up taking Roy Williams instead since he was already taken. My options at 6.05 were either him or take a 4th running back in Turner - I thought it would be better to build up my starters first and that turned out well given the rest of the RB's that just fell in my lap in the later rounds. I had no roster space for any RB sleepers since you are only allowed to carry 6 on your roster.

I am glad you posted that tidbit about week 10, I purposely avoided any strong players with a bye that week, and it also wisened me up to taking a guy like Eddie Royal late in the draft since he could be a starter for me the first 3 weeks of the season with BMarshall suspended.

Last night I had a schizophrenic draft. Was disconnected 3 times and autodrafted. Anyway had the 6th pick

Round 1: Tom Brady- Brady or Barber or Gore, I went Brady with the hopes of picking up another high QB (round 4 maybe) to play in the flex

Round 2: Drew Brees- Well Brees Fell I've never gone QB in the first round before, so might as well make it QB/QB here.

Round 3: Andre Johnson- Best WR on the board, all the RBs are around even. Hes now my 3rd round pick in the first 3 drafts i've done here. Don't think I'll be picking him again barring a major drop.

Round 4: Jamal Lewis- Him or Jacobs, already had Jacobs in previous 2 drafts.

Round 5: Earnest Graham- Best RB there

Round 6: Lee Evans- Best WR

Round 7: Edgerrin James- Solid #3RB

Round 8: Philip Rivers- First auto pick. Sucks, he share's Brees bye week to.

Round 9: Minnesota Vikings- Weak WR, all the Top TEs gone, I'm going to have a weak bench due to that first autodraft so might as well go starter.

Round 10: Anthony Gonzalez- Best WR

Round 11: Javon Walker- Pretty high to take him, wanted a boom or bust guy.

Round 12: Nick Folk- 2nd auto pick

Round 13: Steve Slaton- ####### I have no depth. Ray Rice gone, best shot at starting left at RB here.

Round 14: Owen Daniels- TE, needed one, got a decent one.

Round 15: Adam Vinatieri- 3rd auto pick

Round 16: Mark Clayton- Need a guy who will be on the field with Walker as my #4 WR.

Round 17: Jerious Norwood- Wait, how did I miss this guy? How did everyone else? I'll take him.

Round 18: Tennessee Titans- Frustrated with the draft at this point, not really thinking much. Eff it, i'll take another D. Complete waste, they Play Indy when Minn has a bye.

Round 19: Derrick Ward- upside should jacobs go down.

Round 20: Marcedes Lewis #2 TE.
