And while I agree with you that those who thought all guns were going to be banned, the reality is Obama/Dems validated their fears by coming after some of the guns. The years in which the record numbers came is really irrelevant as long as the prophecy of Obama/Dems coming for the guns is true.

I believe what is being conveyed is that you characterize all pro-gun people using the most extreme lunatics, but you characterize the anti-gun people by the moderate positions. In English, the way you frame the arguments is so ridiculously biased it is a waste of time to even attempt to engage in anything that even remotely resembles a half-way intelligent discussion with you.

Well to be fair, the left did try to come for the guns (at least some of the guns with the Assault Weapons Ban which did not pass)

Had a family member from Connecticut visit us last weekend. He told us that he bought an AR 2 hours before the governor signed a bill outlawing the sale of ARs in the state. He doesn't even own a handgun.

When asked how it shoots, he says he has not shot it yet. We asked if ammo was that hard to find for him. He said no he was able to pick up several boxes and knows to look every time he walks into a store, but has not shot it yet.
