Also where is cheeseburger?   If Patty melt and fried chicken on a bun are on there it qualifies and should be #1 with a bullet IMO

Yea, I see patty melt in the sandwich section in a lot of restaurants and it makes no sense to me.  It's a burger.

Yea, brewpubs, sports bars, alehouses, etc.  If a patty melt is on the menu it tends to be in the sandwich section.  

I actually enjoy a good patty melt on occasion.

Patty Melt is usually on Rye and grilled like grilled cheese.  Cheeseburger is on a bun.

Nothing ruins a grilled cheese faster than someone adding tomato or ham to it.
