anyone listen to the football today podcast from ESPN? Journeyman offensive lineman Ross Tucker is the new host (replacing disgraced Jeremy Green). I've really warmed up to him, and he told an awesome story about being charged for his helmet when he left the Cowboys (Jerry Jones also charged players a weekly fee for lunches when they were at home).

Anyone else listen to it?

Yeah, I think he's fine. Good, new perspective.

For Fantasy, which I think he doesn't care about, I prefer Matt Williamson's scouting perspective, but you get that 2x a week still.

He's not bad. A lot less shtick than Green, which is good. Also, presumably, he's not into child porn, which is also good.

I just can't get past his voice. By all accounts he's a smart guy (went to Princeton, etc) and I do like his stories and inside perspective on the NFL however. More power to him for landing the gig in spite of his a-typical radio voice, but the voice just bugs me.

I don't mind his voice. especially compared to whiny Shiney at noon
