Footballguys Rate My Team (1 Viewer)

sounds awesome! will it account for PPR leagues?
:goodposting: This is the all important question for me. After a few years of subscribing to Footballguys, I stopped a few years back when the site was slow to provide ppr based information. I know the site provided ppr rankings the last couple years, but have not seen staff rankings with ppr so far this off season. Will this new product rate a team based on points per reception, or is that something that will happen sometime after this product is developed more fully?

Thanks David
Yes it works for PPR, 2 QBs, and a host of normal variations that include flex positions. You define your league variables, scoring, number of teams that make the playoffs, and the app uses all those variables when evaluating your team strength.
Maybe not the best place to bring it up, but have you given any thought to the ability to add the QB position to the FLEX lineup?

Some feedback...

1. I love it. With the MFL import option, it's even better, particuarly when it comes to suggesting free agents.

2. I can't wait for IDP to be added. I hope it's in the plans.

3. I'd like to be able to chec a dynasty box. The rankings are very focused on redraft, with things like Tony Richardson rated over Mike Goodson, Brian Finneran over Mario Manningham, David Martin over Chase Coffman, etc. When it comes to the lower end of the roster and guys you don't plan to start all season anyway, youth holds a lot more value than this season's projected stats.

Something that's new from what I can tell that is very cool:

We have Philip Rivers rated #7 among quarterbacks, which makes him a less-than-stellar starter in this league. But we like the selection of our #13-rated QB, Kevin Kolb, to go with him. Hopefully between the two of them, you should be able to cobble together some good production at the position, but this strategy always carries with it the downside that you'll drive yourself crazy trying to decide who to start from week to week.Incidentally, these two have a terrific combined schedule and a decent playoff schedule too. If you simply played the one with the better matchup each week, this is the schedule you'd face: KC | DET | JAX | ARI | SF | STL | TEN | TEN | HOU | WAS | DEN | CHI | HOU | KC | SF | CIN
Very nice...

I inputted a bunch of schlubs just to see the feedback, LOL, it was too funny. One of the remarks was, " Are you serious ?" LOL, another was something like, "were you throwing darts to pick these guys ?".
