A lot of fireworks have that waxy coating on outside of the fuse, so I am guessing that's what allows it to burn underwater. I recall throwing some into ponds, ditches, etc. and having them explode under water.

I would think it has to be pretty high. People on the Internet can be pretty savage to others due to the anonymity. I can't imagine going out and basically asking others to give you their worst. 

Some of these people asking to be roasted could be supremely confident and the results still must knock the wind out of them a little.

I think a lot of these guys are roasters themselves, and virtually all of them post their reddit username.  I think once you've been doing it a while, you look forward to getting zinged.  There were a few i felt bad for, but the girl who got asked how the football team tasted probably didn't think she had actual football player semen in the picture.

If you haven't watched these before, they're awesome. Step by step this guy takes zero tools into the wilderness and builds things that you can't build with tools.   

The best one was a cabin with subfloor heating and hard clay roofing tiles.  This one's not quite as hardcore but still very cool.
