I’d say there are roughly 20 different colors. (Purple, pank, pink, blue, turquoise, aqua, lime, green, yellow, gold, bronze, mauve, ***hsia, maroon, red.

Of those twenty, there are 50 different shades.

I think that imgur link is just a meme and not a real test.

I get the sense that the image in the imgur link has some border lines between colors that are different from the colors on each side. Seems like that makes you (or at least me) feel like I'm seeing two colors when I might only perceive one if the border wasn't as obvious.
