Well if you are strictly in it for the cash....He stays in Dallas duplicates his numbers with an NFL QB and cash in for even more. Now he will tank based on past production out of J-Ville WR's and lack of QB talent, they will cut him two years into his contract and he'll never see the money.
3/14/2012: Signed a five-year, $32.5 million contract. The deal contains $13.8 million guaranteed, including an $8 million signing bonus, a first-year roster bonus of $2 million, and Robinson's 2012 base salary. Robinson is eligible for annual workout bonuses of $100,000 throughout the contract's life. 2012: $1 million, 2013: $2.6 million, 2014: $5.6 million, 2015-2016: $6.4 millionEven if they do cut him "two years into his contract", he'll see $13.8M. Look who the "dumb F" is now.
Apparently winning a championship is not on his list of things to do. That is what is wrong with this generation...zero pride, just cash in. Bring back the good ole days when players played to win. Bunch of greedy Pu**!#$
So, your generation does not care about feeding your family?

"I know you are hungry children, have another bowl of Super Bowl Rings."

I work for a company that employs 80,000 plus people, and I am in Sales. If I can cash in with a better opportunity, you better believe I am taking the promotion. Plaques and trophies collect dust, and are quickly forgotten....

I thought you said he could have made more money staying in Dallas, make up your mind. And what about the "pride" that comes along with being a team's #1 WR rather than then #3 (and #4 passing offense with their TE)? Maybe the thought of being #1 is worth more to him than money.

The type of money we're talking about here is generational. Passing up a guarantee to provide for my family for the rest of our lives is something I couldn't do just to try to win a superbowl. It's not being greedy, it's being practical and mature.

:lmao:

People are really questioning Laurent Robinson's decision to leave Dallas for that much money? It's probably the one and only time he'll ever get within sniffing distance of that kind of contract - he'd be crazy not to do it.

(RotoWire) Branch and the Patriots agreed to a one-year deal Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Analysis: Branch caught 51 passes for 702 yards and five scores in 2011, but he isn't guaranteed a roster spot for 2012. The Patriots are clearly trying to promote a great deal of competition beyond Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd, as Donte Stallworth and Anthony Gonzalez were recently brought aboard.

Yeah I bet he is thinking about his families security. He's probably thinking about a Bentley, a tricked out Impala, a blue tooth, hi-tech video games, a mansion and one of those big set of personal headphones.

per Schefter:

---Former Colts C Jeff Saturday is close to agreeing to a deal with the Packers. "Not done, but very likely," said source familiar with deal.

---And now, former Colts C Jeff Saturday officially has agreed to a deal with the Green Bay Packers. Nice Packers pickup.

A good stop gap til they find Wells' replacement or to let Dietrich-Smith develop more with a vet like Saturday teaching him. Though, if the $$$s are anything close to what Wells got...that will be quite odd of TT.

Does he have anything left?

per Adam Caplan:

#Saints announced they agreed to terms on a contract with MLB Curtis Lofton.

Looks to be a 5-year deal.

Doesn't look good for Vilma staying around, with or w/o suspension.
