Free agent/Trade TRACKING THREAD (1 Viewer)

breaston to KC - $9.5 mill in guarantees per Trotter on twitter.
Also its a 5 year deal
With Bowe and Baldwin there I just dont see this move. Not to mention Breaston's bad knees.
Why with the drafting of Baldwin
Now that they moved McCluster to RB they could maybe see Breaston in the role he had when he had his 1000yd season? Seems a lot to give up for that role though.

Didn't see it in the initial post, but Mason Crosby re-signed for 5 years with Green Bay

Also, As stated above, Reggie Bush to Miami, Haynesworth to New England for 2013 5th rounder. Heard both on Mike & Mike coming in.

Crosby added, I haven't seen where Bush is a done deal?

Mike Peterson to the Falcons

@mikepeterson53

Mike Peterson Fndtn.

Time to Take care unfinished business ..just agreed to terms w/ FALCONS...let's get it!!!

@JuddZulgad: Vikings makings a very serious run at WR James Jones

Also have heard they really want Braylon. I would love to see Jones there though. Matt Williamson also thought the Pats could land Mathias Keiwanuka, that would be my dream scenario.

there was some speculation following the nicholas re-signing that peterson might be out of the picture there. neither lofton or spoon are going anywhere. interested to see what the deal is for peterson. he might hold onto the starting gig, as he is a coach's fave.

Michael Lombardi tweet....

"Hearing Houston has moved into the lead for Nnamdi Asomugha—money will be in the 12-14 mill per year range...Revis makes 11.5 per year"

If so, this tells me that Spoon needs to step it up.

Anything more than his blog note on this - which simply lists Kiwi as a good fit for both NE & Buff?

He sent a tweet about it, but I think it's just speculation since I haven't heard anything else about it.

i don't know really. peterson is 35 after all. he's a leader that is respected by coach and player alike. it's tough to call this one.

ok, thanks.

So the Bears have lost their second WR without adding any, and have let Holmes, Rice, and Lance Moore go without a fight. I knew we wouldn't do squat to address our WR position. Ridiculous.

I doubt anyone moves on Kiwanuka till teams are allowed to bring him in to have team doctors evaluate the herniated disc in his neck.

FWIW, I think Sanzenbacher will make a really good slot receiver. And it's not over yet, lots of quality WRs still on the market.

No way Davis was their 2nd WR. He had 84 yards last year.

Jason LaConfora says Lions really like Jonathan Joseph. If they could somehow bring both him and Tulluch in that team is a force.

RotoworldThe Lions have reportedly dropped out of the running for free agent MLB Stephen Tulloch.Tulloch should've taken Detroit's $6 million-a-year offer with $10 million guaranteed when he had the opportunity. We wouldn't expect him to get more elsewhere. The Lions moved on when they were able to secure Justin Durant late Wednesday night. The Eagles have some interest, and they just got some leverage. The already lost Aroshadlalxohehsoodfcjkl;avI think he meant 2nd as in they lost their second WR so far, not their WR2.

This has got to be torture for Bears fans. They've been left without a chair when the music stopped many times before. I just don't get it. Trade for Cutler, hire Martz, and then don't get a good wideout. WTH??

edit for better grammar.

second WR...as in Aroma and Davis no longer with the Bears.
Alright got it. Neither of the players are huge losses though, maybe they could still grab Malcolm Floyd if he doesn't go to Baltimore.

Good call. That would be a great place to start.

Per Rotoworld:

The Bears have made contact with free agent Malcom Floyd.Nothing is close here, but the Bears are poking around for an upgrade at wide receiver. If they are going to let Greg Olsen go, they could certainly use some size to go with Johnny Knox and Earl Bennett. The problem is that Floyd's pricetag could escalate quickly as the Vikings have shown interest as well.

Per Schefter on ESPN NY: Jets are still likely the favorites because Nnamdi wants to play in NY. He will be offered more money by Houston, so it will come down to money versus location. Jets still the team to beat.
