Gl- 3 was too young for ours....wait, she's 2? Yeah- gl- to you and the other movie goers. We’re taking our almost 3 year old on Saturday. Bought the tickets two weeks ago.
It will be her first movie and my guess is she may not make it through the previews. Although she’s been walking around singing “into the unknowwwwwwnnnn” for a while now.
Speaking of, this movie is screwed if that’s supposed to be the monster song.
First time I heard that song I thought whoa that ain’t no let it go. I wonder if they struggled with the music for this. We’re taking our almost 3 year old on Saturday. Bought the tickets two weeks ago.

We are taking 4 kids and the family next week so if I am able to see any of it all I’ll post a mini-review. I don’t remember much from the last movie other than it had the funny snowman.Reviews seem pretty mixed with most agreeing the sequel doesn’t hold up. Would be happy to see FBG reviews (without spoilers).
Unfortunately we are putting off our viewing til the first weekend in December due to other obligations this weekend and travel over Thanksgiving. I’m sure my daughter is going to be hearing all about the movie at school in the meantime.
It will make bank. Saw it today. No where near as good as the first story wise or music wise. But good enough for the kiddos and I appreciate the female protagonists without the need of male empowerment. 3/5.I’m surprised it took them 6 years to pump this out. Time is of the essence when you are dealing with fickle kids. A lot of the core group that went and saw the first one a dozen times has grown up. I’m curious to what the box office will be.

All things considered she did great. Sat nicely with one of her friends before they even turned the screen on, made it through the previews, and got about 15 mins in before she hopped out of her chair, looked at me and very casually said “I want to go home”, walked right past me and down the steps of the theater.Gl- 3 was too young for ours....wait, she's 2? Modern animated movies take a whole lot of work to do well. Years and years of development/creation. It’s a pretty good argument for not making sequels simply because the kids it really resonated with grow out of the characters before they can get a sequel out.I’m surprised it took them 6 years to pump this out. Tbh, that's awesome on a variety of levels, the main one being shes a kid who knows herself and can express it...instead of sitting there and fussing, she recognized the issue and took the steps to rectify itAll things considered she did great. 41.8m on Friday. Boxoffice mojo is estimating 130m for the weekend. 100m so far internationallyI’m curious to what the box office will be.
During her bath time last night we listened to the Frozen 2 soundtrack for fun, and I was surprised how uncatchy the songs were.Saw it with my 11 year old daughter who was at the epicenter of the frozen 1 hysteria. She wasn’t impressed. Frankly neither was I.
Give it a few weeks so we don’t have any spoilers but I challenge someone to give a solid overview of the story/plot in four short sentences. I don’t ask because the complexity was so brilliant.
It felt like they figured out it’s been 6 years but had other things going on so they gave the script to the B team. Music in the first one (by mouse standards) was probably a 10/10. This was 3/10 at best. Would have been 1/10 if not for Olaf.
kind of awful, frankly.
Yea we listened the other day. I was like uhhh maybe they haven’t released all the songs yet.During her bath time last night we listened to the Frozen 2 soundtrack for fun, and I was surprised how uncatchy the songs were.

The original did meh opening week and then became a tour de force when the reviews come out. I can see this one working the other way around.

The only animated movie series that really managed to keep hitting high notes was Toy Story and even then Toy Story 4 seems like it was mainly a miss.
Yeah - my 4yo said she didn't like the giants. Not sure what she means, but that's about the only thing she said about the movie.Wife took my four year old yesterday. Apparently it was a lot scarier than the first one (they were probably assuming their target audience aged six years). Four year old got scared.
Wife said she liked the music - but she loves everything Disney.

Decided to make this my 2-year-old’s first movie because I’m stupid (like 10 of going day after thanks) but I figure if he doesn’t dig it I’ll just walk him around some. We opted not to take the two year old. Figured no chance she'd sit through it. Good luck.Decided to make this my 2-year-old’s first movie because I’m stupid (like 10 of going day after thanks) but I figure if he doesn’t dig it I’ll just walk him around some. I don’t care if I see it.
Learn from me... reserved seating and showing up after the previews will be a big help.Decided to make this my 2-year-old’s first movie because I’m stupid (like 10 of going day after thanks) but I figure if he doesn’t dig it I’ll just walk him around some. I don’t care if I see it.
Oh yea. We have 4 kids of various age going so the seating and late arrival is a lock.Learn from me... reserved seating and showing up after the previews will be a big help.
Did you lose your head again? Did she freak? My two year old sat through it, but that was mainly because she enjoyed seeing me on the big screen.
