Opening tomorrow!

I have two kids under 10 that are psyched. Huge fans of the original. This will be their first movie at a theater though not sure if the youngest has the attention span.

Original is my favorite Disney movie. Will be going next week with my daughters when they are on break from college. LoL

13 year old daughter thinks she’s too cool for it, 12 year old daughter is excited for it. My wife is taking them this weekend when I’m in Vegas, but if I was home I’d go too. Tim sure flies, they both wore the CD out when the first one came out.

In my opinion, I just don't think it looks very good. My 16 and 13 year old daughters have kind of moved on from this genre but would still like to see it eventually.

For some reason my almost-9-year-old daughter is "meh" on it.  She saw the original a few times but isn't too into Disney movies.

That said, I'm sure we'll see it eventually.  Probably not in the theaters, unless my wife makes a case to the kids.  My 7-year-old-son will definitely say NOOOO!

We’re taking our almost 3 year old on Saturday. Bought the tickets two weeks ago.

It will be her first movie and my guess is she may not make it through the previews. Although she’s been walking around singing “into the unknowwwwwwnnnn” for a while now.

Speaking of, this movie is screwed if that’s supposed to be the monster song.

Reviews seem pretty mixed with most agreeing the sequel doesn’t hold up. Would be happy to see FBG reviews (without spoilers).

Unfortunately we are putting off our viewing til the first weekend in December due to other obligations this weekend and travel over Thanksgiving. I’m sure my daughter is going to be hearing all about the movie at school in the meantime.

Gl- 3 was too young for ours....wait, she's 2? Yeah- gl- to you and the other movie goers.

First time I heard that song I thought whoa that ain’t no let it go. I wonder if they struggled with the music for this.

We are taking 4 kids and the family next week so if I am able to see any of it all I’ll post a mini-review. I don’t remember much from the last movie other than it had the funny snowman.

My daughter loved the song of the first one (sang it all the time) but thought the movie was 'meh'. I pretty much agree with her. So far she hasn't brought up seeing the sequel at all. So it will probably be a Disney+ watch if we bother.

I’m surprised it took them 6 years to pump this out. Time is of the essence when you are dealing with fickle kids. A lot of the core group that went and saw the first one a dozen times has grown up. I’m curious to what the box office will be.

It will make bank. Saw it today. No where near as good as the first story wise or music wise. But good enough for the kiddos and I appreciate the female protagonists without the need of male empowerment. 3/5.

Kristoff wasn't completely useless but definitely 3rd fiddle here.

The story was decent enough but agreed. Disney will make bank and gets a couple new toys to market. New outfits for the royalty.

When compared to the rest of the pure Disney (non Pixar) sequels, it's probably the best of the lot.

All things considered she did great. Sat nicely with one of her friends before they even turned the screen on, made it through the previews, and got about 15 mins in before she hopped out of her chair, looked at me and very casually said “I want to go home”, walked right past me and down the steps of the theater.

Will be taking my almost 5 year old daughter thanksgiving week sometime.  She’s more in a lion king phase now but frozen must have played over a 100 times in our household not to long ago.

Modern animated movies take a whole lot of work to do well. Years and years of development/creation. It’s a pretty good argument for not making sequels simply because the kids it really resonated with grow out of the characters before they can get a sequel out.

The only animated movie series that really managed to keep hitting high notes was Toy Story and even then Toy Story 4 seems like it was mainly a miss.

Tbh, that's awesome on a variety of levels, the main one being shes a kid who knows herself and can express it...instead of sitting there and fussing, she recognized the issue and took the steps to rectify it

Saw it with my 11 year old daughter who was at the epicenter of the frozen 1 hysteria.  She wasn’t impressed.  Frankly neither was I.

Give it a few weeks so we don’t have any spoilers but I challenge someone to give a solid overview of the story/plot in four short sentences.  I don’t ask because the complexity was so brilliant.

It felt like they figured out it’s been 6 years but had other things going on so they gave the script to the B team.  Music in the first one (by mouse standards) was probably a 10/10.  This was 3/10 at best.  Would have been 1/10 if not for Olaf.

kind of awful, frankly.

During her bath time last night we listened to the Frozen 2 soundtrack for fun, and I was surprised how uncatchy the songs were.

My 6 y/o twins saw it yesterday with mom and grandmother, while I did electrical work with my dad.  So, I got a lot out of the movie as I checked an item off the home repair to do list that's been on there for 4 years.

Shutyermouth!

Our whole family loved it. Including my 16yo son who doesn't like any cartoons now.

Wife took my four year old yesterday. Apparently it was a lot scarier than the first one (they were probably assuming their target audience aged six years). Four year old got scared.

Wife said she liked the music - but she loves everything Disney.

This one was pretty meh.  The first half seemed way to forced.  I know these are fairy tales, but I felt it was just kind of stupid about 45 minutes into it.

They brought it back in a little to make it decent, but we won't be going back to see it in the theaters.

I did like how they brought back the story of their parents.

Yeah - my 4yo said she didn't like the giants.  Not sure what she means, but that's about the only thing she said about the movie.

Decided to make this my 2-year-old’s first movie because I’m stupid (like 10 of going day after thanks) but I figure if he doesn’t dig it I’ll just walk him around some. I don’t care if I see it.

We opted not to take the two year old. Figured no chance she'd sit through it. Good luck.

Learn from me... reserved seating and showing up after the previews will be a big help.

My 14 year old went to a birthday party on Saturday and they went to it ("ironically" or whatever.) She said it was actually pretty good.

Wife and I and 10 year old going Wednesday morning. Might invite one of my daughter's friends.
