Game 1: Denver Broncos Vs Carolina Panthers - TNF (1 Viewer)

Olsen sighting.

Benjamin and the development of Funchess could be bad for Olsen owners.  Presence of two TE size WRs is gonna reduce his targets, particularly in the RZ.
Possibly, but I'll take 7-73

Exceeded his projection while my opponent (Stewart) underperformed slightly

Great second half from the World Champions...if they clean up the turnovers they'll be back on top of the AFC West. Carolina is a tough team on both sides of the ball so this is a good gauge of where they stand.

Yeah, I'll take it too.

I was premature in my observation.  Funchess only ended with 4 targets.

Olsen gets open and has great hands.  He'll get his.  I doubt he'll get the targets he had last year or go over 1100 yards again-though I guess he could- but I think he's solidly a top 3 TE.

Once again everyone was picking Carolina to win tonight just like in Santa Clara....and the Bronco D shows who's boss in the second half.

the line ended at -2.5 CAR.  Was basically considered a tossup, not similar to SB at all.
Home teams usually get 2.5-3 points automatically, so Carolina being a 2.5-3 point favorite on the road basically meant they were considered to be 6 points better again

And that thought process was wrong again

I think you're confusing "thought process" with "results".

Carolina is a good team, but they didn't lose last year until week 15, and cam could smile at every press conference. If they have a slow start I wonder if he can keep his focus and not melt down.

They won't be playing a D this tough all year - they can use this to win 15 in a row from here on out just as easily. They only have to fix a few things.

Great game...I'm coming away from it thinking that if both these teams survive major injuries, it wouldn't shock me to see either of them back in the SuperBowl this year.

Fun game..glad I grabbed CJ in one league, Kelvin in another.

Pissed I chose McCoy over CJ in another.  May be game 1 overreacting, but he looked really good and Demver looks to lean in him.

My thinking is last year was a bit of an aberration with 5 guys having elite years over 225 in PPR. In the five years before that only 9 TEs exceeded that threshold.

If that normalizes this year, 75-950-8 should be a top 3 season easily.

Last four seasons he has averaged 75.8-943-6 so I guess I'm being a bit optimistic on the RZ opportunities.

glad my league bench scoring breaks ties... odds of tie in fractional scoring league, astronomical  :wall:

benched CJ for Miller, Latavius and Ware  :oldunsure:
