I had always hoped it was Arya Stark that killed Joffery avenging her fathers death, but now watching the replay Sansa Stark did exchange a glance with the Imp and then held the cup... she was the second to last person to hold the cup that we saw.

Others ate the pie after it was cut so I dont think it could have been that.

Because she wasn't hearing it. He'd told her many times before that she was in grave danger. If he doubles down, all she'll say it "then you come with me" or reiterate "I'm not afraid of them." This was the best way to not only get her on the boat but to ensure she never returns.

I think that's why that scene with Margery's brother, Sir Lawrence happened. Now if he marries Cersei, he takes the throne. I also found it interesting that Sir Lawrence had that nod to the prince that wants to kill all the Lanisters. It's the beginning of the end for them.

Sir Lawrence takes the throne, then he kills off Cersei. Then it's open season on the Lanisters.

They made a point of cutting to Varys a few times in the lead up, he seemed to be looking away with a grave look on his face. I just don't see him as having as powerful a motivation, but he does serve the realm....

I thought the way Joffrey died was pretty fitting. Right after he was being such a jerk in front of everyone he died in front of them all. It looked like a pretty bad way to go, and they did the scene well. His blood shot eyes & face turning blue is definitely a rememberable image.

The disappointment is based on the fact there will be not more byplay between Joffrey and Tyron and, the strength of the actor who played Joffrey. The actor played the part excellently IMO.
