Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (4 Viewers)

On Inside The Episode, they said that seeing the Red Keep set her off. That makes no sense, an old building that her ancestors built, that's going to be hers in 2-3 hours, something she's been working her whole life to get back, and seeing it makes her...torch it? And everything else? Nonsense.
Then why ignore that while killing civilians? Why not go straight after that kill Cersei and the Mountain who killed your friend? Feel better, city surrendered, no more bloodshed and a grateful population.

Dany being cutthroat and destroying the city in order to take it is believable.  Destroying the city after they have surrendered is wildly not.

It’s amazing.

We had to explain the the escape plan the Imp had for Jaime and his whore sister Ike 3 times last night. I could understand if it was set up 3 episodes ago but it literally occurred during this episode.

:lmao:
Want to give explaining Jamie going back to Ceresi a go?  People seemed to have missed him explaining what he was doing to Sir Brianne right before he left to go do it.

:lmao: She’s been fighting the urge to turn into her father all this time. Yes it was pure evil and not even remotely shocking.

I cant even understand how anyone can’t see this.
It was shocking to me.  I knew she was ruthless.  I knew she would do anything to take the throne.  If some innocents have to die, so be it.

I didn’t know she would choose to burn that throne (that she had won) to the ground and, before doing so, kill tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of innocent people purely out of blood lust.

Nothing about her character up to that point suggested that level of madness.  It is a quantum leap to go from sacrifice innocents as collateral damage to genocide.

History of mental illness in the family may be a good enough explanation for you.  It wasn’t for me.

Lol at “not even remotely shocking”.  I’m sure you saw Dany as the most evil character in thrones coming a mile away.

Yeah, it was set up as though Cersei was hiding behind 1000s of civilians and Dany would have to cut through them to get to her.  Nope, she was just chilling in the Red Keep basically by herself and Dany could have just flown over there.

I know it was set up in her speech to Tyrion about it would be better for Westeros if she went that route and killed innocents, but it still felt off to me in the episode.

If she has gone so far off the deep end she kills innocent people, she should have Jon and Tyrion kill first thing, then get on her dragon and pay Sansa a visit.

Just because you are a Targ doesn't mean you are crazy or cruel. That sort of statement is more true of the Boltons who have a flayed man on their banner. By your logic we should expect Jon to take a crazy pill any day now and assume that Rhaegar was the same as his father - when by all accounts he was nothing of the sort.
Jon is only half Targaryen.

The theory that she planned to do this at dragonstone  was debunked by D&D in the cool show about the show piece.

They say she snapped in the moment and made the choice to go full genocide right there while the bells were ringing. She saw the red keep and thought “this isn’t business, this is personal.”

whatever the #### that means.

No, but I did see her slowly losing her grip since she came to the north. Since its been mentioned repeatedly over the shows previous 7 seasons that shes a targaryen, allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back to when Robert was alive, IT COMES AS NO SHOCK that she went nuts....JUST LIKE HER FATHER.

Absolutely hilarious that people are having such a hard time with this.

I wouldn't be shocked if she wins.  She goes North and eliminates Sansa real quick for not wanting to be her friend and betraying her.....she keeps on Tyrion, maybe and gives Jon a chance to "take the black" again.  And then just settles in and governs as a hard assed but prosperous ruler.
You thought people complained about the end of Deadwood....

Yeah, you’re explanation isn’t persuasive.

It basically reduces to “history of mental illness in the family.”

I don’t think the turn to genocidal murderer of hundreds of thousands of innocents was earned.   You do.  Let’s just move on.

If you haven't noticed Dany is a bit of tyrant with a family history of mental illness that is now is a position where she doesn't trust her hand Tyrion, Varys is leading the death pool at the moment imo, and just lost 2 of the most powerful armies in the 7 kingdoms (her only 2) with the Dothraki and Unsullied immediately following the discovery that she isn't even entitled to the throne.  That leaves Grey Worm and her pet Dragon left at her command.  This story won't end without her doing something unhinged.

Also, Jon Snow is dead.  All his friends stabbed him and his heart stopped beating for a few days.  The which that brought him back is also dead.  In this world, everyone who has been resurrected was able to do so because they had a purpose to fulfill.  Jon Snow's purpose is going to end up being destroying Dany.  Most likely by sword through the chest to fulfull Azor Ahai.

Leaving Tyrion to wed Sansa.  It would be the only way to complete Sansa's story arch, and Tyrion has been the catalyst that has driven almost the entire storyline.  He's been the central character since the beginning, everyone just overlooks him.  (pun intended)
Sorry, but I have to toot my own horn again.

Again, I have no inside information, but don't read my predictions if you want to be surprised....

Jon is going to kill Dany, sword through the chest.  Jon is also a goner, most likely by grey worm.  Bran warging into Drogon would be great too, especially going kamikaze.  My guess would be Arya taking out Drogon.

Tyrion is going to get the dragon sentence for his treason and going to be still standing there unscarred.

Tyrion's dad was the mad king and his mother Tywin Lannister's wife.  That would make him targaryen/lannister and dany's older half brother.  Would also explain why he's a dwarf as that would make him double inbred.  Tywin had to keep him around as the rightful heir to the throne, as a likely plan d,e,f?

This would also allow Tyrion to pay his debt to bronn, who each of the Lannister's have negged on their debts so far.  For the Lannister's to always pay their debts, Tyrion needs to be king.

If you need supporting targaryen evidence there is the "no son of mine" last words of tywin, the targaryen symbol being a three headed dragon, and Tyrion's mom dying during childbirth just like Jon and dany.

Guess that leaves Davos to stick around as Hand to the King.

Could see Tyrion and Sansa wedding or Tyrion granting the North forever freedom.  Arya becomes Warden of the North and/or takes Gendry back.

Bran stays a tree/raven/wheelchair guy.

It was premeditated. When Tyrion made the suggestion about the bells tolling to her she briefly nodded toward grey worm and told him he'll know when it's time. She never agreed to show mercy at all.

Ok, so you guys thought the chick that said "he was no dragon" blank faced when her brother was brutally murdered in front of her in like the third episode of the series wasn't a sociopath this whole time?

No kidding.  That is actually no evidence at all for the killing of (tens/hundreds of thousands) innocent women and children.
Other than her crazy dad, brother and the quotes "a targeryen alone in the world is a terrible thing"; "you don't want to wake the dragon, do you?"

LOL, you remind me of the movie Aliens Attack. Blind or dumb.

Dany has been more desperate than Cercei has ever been since the battle of the dead.  She realizes nobody loves her, she says multiple times that fear is all she has with these people.

Jon Snow probably could have saved the day by just giving her the d when she said she loved him.  But he made her his Jorah.

The people of westeros were never going to love her.  She went full cat lady hanging out with her dragon by herself for so long.  She's always been paranoid and in the end rightfully so as she's accused nearly everyone close to her including Jon of treason now.

After getting the stink eye up north she's gonna demand Sansa bend the knee and that ain't happening.  Jon going to pick duty over love and shank her.

I agree with all of this.  It still doesn’t get you to genocide of thousands of innocents.

She was also told more then once Northerners don't like people they don't know. Why not see if people in Kings Landing might be more receptive before killing a bunch of people who had surrendered?
