Never been a fan of the khaleesi below the neck.  It's obviously a well above average body compared to the general population,  but shes sort of short and stumpy and not very toned.

I'd rather see her naked than NOT see her naked but there have probably been at least a dozen other women on the show (just actual characters, not counting extras) who were/are hotter overall.

Maybe their use of tanks is how they are such a power now.  That always seemed a bit too glossed over.  I think Arya could take out a good portion of the Lancel army.

With the Dothraki, I half expect Dany to level the cities of Yunkai and Astapor, thus eliminating slavery......but the manner in which Tyrion's conversation went (both with the Masters and Grey Worm and Missandi) I wouldn't be surprised if Dany doesn't do anything about slavery as it would be a waste of her resources.  To that, I'd think that Grey Worm and Missandi would be more likely to bite it this season.
The whole plot seems to be narratively driven.

So Tyrion's deal accomplishes something for the writers, it allows Dany to leave and reclaim her throne knowing that the masters have 7 years to transition, the cities will be at peace free from the insurgents. And the masters will give her ships now. Done and done.

It also seemingly accomplished what Dany couldn't and that's something she needed from Tyrion. So I'm not sure it was just Tyrion acting for the sake of the narrative. It also was him doing what Dany asked of him - being her adviser. Tyrion knows how to play the political game. Dany doesn't. That is something she will need by her side if she wants to take the iron throne. Tyrion was in many ways, a huge missing piece to Dany's puzzle in terms of her quest to be a ruler. She's had a lot of the power but as Tyrion told her there's more to being a ruler than just having all the power on your side. But having him may prove to be one of the biggest aces up her sleeve she could hope to have.

Ramsay's too over the top. :boo:

Too much Arya. :boo:

Where's Arya? :boo:

Other than idealistic moments of baddassitude, Dany has done pretty much nothing but screw up for four straight seasons. She has the personality and the strength of character to rule, she has the willpower and the charm to gain a following, but she doesn't have the practical knowledge or the ability to compromise (at least yet). She needed Tyrion very badly and I really hope we get a scene in the future, somehow, of his brother and sister seeing him rolling with Dany.

I'm pretty disappointed that nobody has tried to take this test yet.  It's like some of you just want to talk about the show.

Maybe Viserion is the valonqar.  Tyrion could ride in on his back, he could grab Cersei's throat in his claws, and squeeze the life out of her before he drops her limp body into Melara's well.

I love her short and stumpiness

I think there was a little too much to the Tyrion/Masters/Slaves conversation to just be...."Tyrion solved a thousands of year old problem in 30 seconds".  Tyrion's there to help her become a ruler.  A ruler has to make tough decisions.  I think that abandoning the whole "breaker of chains" idea in order to better her position to claim Westeros will be the tough lesson that she needs to learn.  It might be something as simple as granting the Unsullied (and by extension Missandi and Grey Worm) the freedom to stay in Slavers Bay and fight the "good fight"....it might be something more complex like the Unsullied revolting against her causing her to kill their leaders.  I don't think she gets out of Eastros without some sort of "final lesson" being taught.

And miss his resurrection?
Ha. Would they really do that twice? :)

Speaking of which, there's a good story in Entertainment Weekly with Kit Harrington on the whole Jon Snow storyline and him keeping it a secret from everyone.

I know this is Game of Thrones and all but I really think there are three characters who are just too important to the show to kill off - Jon, Dany and Tyrion. And this has nothing to do with any of the alleged book prophecies or any of that. I just think they are too important to the entire storyline and their characters too strong for them to be killed off. I think the show would suffer greatly if any of them were killed off. The show needs all of them and, ideally in my opinion, all three of them working together. I really want to see more of Tyrion and Dany working together and it's my hope that at some point in the future Dany, Tyrion and Jon join forces as well. As someone posted awhile back, Jon and Tyrion forged mutual respect back in Season 1 and I wonder if that was done as a foreshadowing for something more to come down the road.

I thought Tyrion was smart? Why 7 years for slavery? Would they have scoffed at 3? 5? Pretty piss poor negotiation skills he displayed there.

Not sure it really maters. No matter what the time frame is, I think both sides know Dany isn't likely to be there to enforce it anyway.

I don't think Tyrion's goal was to stop slavery. His goal was to stop the other cities from funding/supporting the Sons of the Harpy in Myreen. A stable Myreen is the best chance for Dany to consolidate her resources and move on to Westeros.

Enough with Ramsey already.  It's like if Brokeback Mountain was two hours of guys banging.  Enough already, we get it.  I'm past hating his character and moved fully into annoyance at his presence.
Yeah it's a bit much.

ETA: Ramsey, that is. I didn't think there was enough humping in Brokeback Mountain tbh.

It also seems likely the slave masters break their deal, continue supporting the harpies, and she trashes them once again before leaving for the West.

There could be one final uprising and Dany unleashes all three of the dragons on them, she wins and then leaves for good, perhaps leaving Grey Worm and Missandei in charge (just spitballing). I keep going back to the limited amount of time we have left and the belief that at some point she has to get to Westeros so the story can't keep her in Meereen for too much longer I wouldn't think.

I was wondering about this as well.  After the Red Wedding there would have to have been some bloodshed between the Freys and the Tullys.

How many posts do we need about 20 seconds worth of boobs on HBO?   Do your wives check your search history or something?
Where else are some of these people supposed to see boobs?  Evidently lots of people don't have access to seeing boobs on TV or anywhere else.

I thought the wildling that looks like Jillian Michaels might have a shot a maiming Ramsey when they were first shown as captured.

Nope.

Maybe  the vale wildlings army defeat the boltons just to have the white wallers breech the wall and head south.
We know there's a battle with the white walkers still to come and that would seem to be the biggest one and perhaps the final one. We anticipate Jon fighting Ramsay. At some point Dany will likely try to take over King's Landing. Then you have the Sparrow/Lannister-Tyrell battle to come plus whatever might happen with Dorne vs. Lannister and the Greyjoy stuff. Lotta fights to get to in a short period of time on the show.
