Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (10 Viewers)

That little girl has some acting chops. She did very well with her screen time a couple of episodes ago when they were trying to gather men to fight.
I thought she was absolutely fantastic in that episode. just liking her "who farted... it was you, wasn't it?" face.

Season 7 casting call

"According to our sources, the show is currently casting two young Northern characters. Their names are unknown, with Game of Thrones being just as careful on their notices as they were last year.

The first is a 16-year-old Northern girl. They're looking for an actress with a northern accent to take part in what's being called 'a high-stakes scene with leading cast members.' Her physical description isn't specified, except for her needing to be white.

The second role is for a 10-year-old Northern boy. He appears to be a part of the same 'high-stakes' scene as the teenage girl.

These particular roles will be filming in September and October. We've also heard there are other child roles being cast at the moment, but we haven't received any more details on them."

Theories on who these are?

High stakes
High stakes is an anagram for Stag Sheikh.

The Stag is the sigil of house Barratheon, of which Gendry is the sole remaining heir.

Shiekhs are a title of Arabia or Islam.  The culture in Game of Thrones that closest resembles Arabia is Dorne home of House Martell.

Conclusion:  High Stakes = Stag and Sheikh coming together.

Gendry marries a Martell in Season 7.

This is a ridiculous theory. The culture that most resembles Arabia is Slaver's Bay, not Dorne. Dorne is clearly Spanish. Words cannot express how infuriated I am at the idiocy you have displayed here.

Agreed. Spain is clearly a post-moorish Spain. Similar to the rest of Westerns (Europe) but clearly distinguishingly different as well with the influence of another culture imprinted on it as is the case with Spain. There is a reason why they film the Dorne scenes in Spain.

Post-moopish, actually.

I just want the tower of joy reveal. If we get that, they can fill the other 45 minutes with Sam reading scrolls on the toilet for all I care

Epsidoe 10 is usually an aftermath episode
S1: Everyone dealing with Ned's death. It did have the epic Dany emerging naked from the fire with the baby dragons.

S2: Aftermath of Blackwater, but good action as Jon kills Halfhand, Theon is betrayed at Winterfell and Dany escapes, gets her dragons back and locks that guy in a vault

S3: Worst finale ever. All aftermath of Red Wedding. Ends with Dany crowd surfing. Onlyhighlight is the Hound and Arrya killing some Lannister men (not the chicken scene though).

S4: Dragons are chained, Brienne defeats the Hound, Arrya gets on a ship to find the faceless men, Stannis rides on the Wildlings and captures Mance, Tyrion escapes and kills his dad.

S5: Stannis is defeated and killed, Theon and Sansa escape, Jamie/Cersei daughter dies after leaing Dorne, Cersei's walk of shame, The Mountain returns, Arrya kills the pedophile in the brothel,  Jon Snow is killed.

So not every season finale has just been aftermath and set-up.

At some point someone in the Stark family needs to get some revenge on a Stark family murder. I would be surprised if the entire series came and went and it didn't happen at all. Arya sure seems to be a probable candidate to get some revenge at some point for Ned's death, Robb's, her mom's or maybe all three.
Didn't it just happen in the last episode?

This was the culmination of an awesome season IMO and example of a finale that doesn't have to go out on a huge bang.

Cant wait!

I have avoided this thread for 2 weeks... as we have saved the last two episodes and will add tonights in and have a big night of watching GoT back-to-back-to-back.

So - predictions on tonight's episode?

My guesses - no legitimate spoliers

Wall

Bran makes it to the wall, has his last peek into the past, we find out Jon is a Targaryen/Stark;  Wall begins to crack, Whitewalkers have a way thorugh.

Winterfell

Jon is crowned King of the North.  He pardons Melisandre, Davos walks/rides away.  Sansa and Littlefinger discuss marriage but maybe between Sansa and Robyn

Kings Landing - one legit spoiler in here

Loras and Cersei have their trials.  Loras admits his sins, punishment = castration.  Cersei does not show up - blows up the Sept instead killing everyone in their - including Sparrows, Margaery, Loras, and other Tyrells, and an undetermined number of high society types.  Tommen sees this, and jumps out a window, killing himself.  Cersei realizes the prophecy has come true.

Freys/Lannisters

Arya shows up at the Frey/Lannister feast - kills Walder Frey, becomes Red Wedding, Part II  can see this breaking down into Lannisters v. Freys when they start blaming each other.

Dorne

Nothing much here - Varys secures Dorne, and maybe Lady Olenna as allies for Daenerys

Mereen

Daenerys and Tyrion join with Iron Fleet to head to Westeros

Other stuff

Euron Greyjoy has his fleet and sets out to woo Daenerys,  Samwell and Gilly make it to oldtown with the sword - send white ravens to other houses to warn that Winter is here.  Brienne and Pod meet up with Brotherhood, and continue the trek up north.

Jorah Mormont is seen headed to Valyria - photo of him from the set

People.com says

Major character dies gruesome death this week.

I need to stay off Facebook on Sunday evenings. :(

Not sure how legit this is ... who knows.
