Best episode yet. Twenty times more eventful than last week's, which I thought was overhyped.
Sums it up perfectly.Another boring finale where nothing happened. So typical.
Luanne Mormont quickly becoming one of my favorites.Luanne Mormont is awesome
Then it is quiet but you still don't hear the King landing.Show is just so well made. Like the music that played throughout the Kings Landing scene. Epic.
Cersei has no idea how badly she is going to get her ### kicked by Dany. I don't see how that's even a fight. Assuming Dany wins that battle and takes King's Landing I think the assumption might be that she and Jon join forces to fight the White Walkers in the ultimate final battle on the show. That would seem to be where everything is heading. There's certainly no reason for Dany and Jon to be at odds with one another and certainly not if Bran shows up and tells Jon about his true parentage. The Lannisters have no one and they are internally in chaos.
Somehow I think she'll manage. (At least one more season, anyway.)Cersei has zero shot to stay in power - Dany comes with 2 armies, 1 navy, 3 dragons, and will soon team with two more kingdoms - and Cersei has literally blown away the cream of the kingdom's leadership who were all gathered in the sept, and her leading soldier her brother now hates her. It's just a matter of time before that's done. And the North is now consolidated.
Once Tyrion arrives on Dany's side Jamie's gonna be in a real tough spot, stuck between a sister he loves and a brother he loves. Of all the ways for Cersei to die I think being killed by Tyrion is the most fitting but Jamie killing her to prevent her from doing something awful (like killing Tyrion) is another possibility.Cersei has zero shot to stay in power - Dany comes with 2 armies, 1 navy, 3 dragons, and will soon team with two more kingdoms - and Cersei has literally blown away the cream of the kingdom's leadership who were all gathered in the sept, and her leading soldier her brother now hates her. They entered this world together and will leave together. Greatest love story ever.If Jaime kills Cercei, I'm guessing Jaime will also make sure he dies too, all his kids are dead, can't see him wanting to live any longer.
Very unlikely that Jon wants the Iron Throne, and still to be determined how Westeros would ever learn of Jon's parents - maybe Howlend Reed...There is one big reason Dany and Jon might be at odds. It's possible Jon would have a better claim to the throne as Rhaegar's son. I can't imagine after everything she has been through Dany will be happy letting her nephew take the throne. I realize we assume Jon is Rhaegar's ******* but we don't really know for sure if he and Lyanna figured out a way to get married.
The show really could be setting up for women in power of all the major areas on the show. There's a woman leader in Dorne. Dany will rule the Iron Throne, Yara will be a Queen and once Jon finds out his true bloodline he'll likely renounce his King in the North title and that would leave Sansa as the Queen since she's the oldest living Stark child.
We heading to an all women rulers of the seven kingdoms?
dany
sansa up north
yara iron islands
sand snakes dorne

Agree with you.A lot of assumptions about things going smoothly and pretty well for the "heroes". I doubt that. Little finger is already plotting aghast Sansa and Snow. That's not likely to have a positive outcome.
We still have Cersei, and probably Littlefinger.Agree with you.
We had a very satisfying season from a fan perspective that stuck to more common tropes of the good guys winning. This is not going to last - in fact, it'll likely end badly.
The only downside to the season and this episode, other than Cersei - whose power situation is tenuous, we don't have any characters left to hate.
He has Stark blood but not Ned's. Maybe that won't matter to everyone in the North if people find out who his true parents are. Maybe it will. But ultimately I don't think Jon wants to rule. I think he's doing it now because he thinks it's what he needs to do and it's what is expected of him now. But if he had a choice he'd probably let Sansa run things and he'd go somewhere warm like he originally wanted before she showed up at Castle Black. No reason for Jon to relinquish King of the North based on his parents - he still has as much Stark blood in him, as everyone presumes.
This is where they have us though.. audience and characters will be torn between their own loyalties pitted against each other (until the White Walkers finally make a move)..The only downside to the season and this episode, other than Cersei - whose power situation is tenuous, we don't have any characters left to hate.
I don't think they dropped the Daenerys getting married stuff just for ####s and giggles. Would not surprise me if Jon and Daenerys got hitched to form an alliance of sorts - presumably to battle the White Walkers. He has Stark blood but not Ned's. Totally agree.Luanne Mormont quickly becoming one of my favorites.
I heard 13 episodes left. This was the episode I've been waiting for the last three seasons. Finaly brought everyone together, put characters where they need to be, and killed off the rest.
now we got 15 episodes to do the whole "song of fire and ice" thing.
Not if Little Finger sees her first.I don't think they dropped the Daenerys getting married stuff just for ####s and giggles. Would not surprise me if Jon and Daenerys got hitched to form an alliance of sorts - presumably to battle the White Walkers.
0.0 IMONot if Little Finger sees her first.![]()
One thing that struck me was during Lyanna Mormont's big speech that swayed all the North leaders to rally around Jon a big part of it was saying how Jon was a Snow but he had Ned Stark's blood flowing in his veins. Should the North find out that isn't the case how much of a problem will that cause?
