It appears that The Mountain is going to shame all over the face of Unella for the rest of the series.
You guys understand this isn't in real time, right? We're not watching '24' here.Yea, and did you see how fast Jaime got back to Kings Landing? And how the hell did Arya get to riverlands so fast?
I think I read somewhere that this is all and good, but if so much time really has passed, then why isn't Gilly's baby a toddler yet?It appears that The Mountain is going to shame all over the face of Unella for the rest of the series.
Per the prophecy. One of her little brothers will choke her outYup. Truly great character. Biggest questions for her may be who ends up killing her and how incredible is her death going to be?
Gotta be Arya.Yup. Truly great character. Biggest questions for her may be who ends up killing her and how incredible is her death going to be?
Ha I thought of that as well - gliding high like gulls or albatross, birds that fly long distances, might have made sense, but the wing flapping would probably get pretty damned exhausting after maybe 30 miles even for a dragon.can dragons swim like ducks and land/float on the water? or will they have to fly all the way to westeros... or perch on one of the boats to rest?
Either Tyrion or Jamie would be the most appropriate.Yup. Truly great character. Biggest questions for her may be who ends up killing her and how incredible is her death going to be?
Yeah and I think the betting odds favor Jamie but the most fitting death in my opinion would be for Tyrion to kill her.Per the prophecy. One of her little brothers will choke her out
I've really enjoyed Tyrion and Dany finally getting together the last couple of seasons but I miss Tyrion being in King's Landing. Dinklage and Headey are great together.Either Tyrion or Jamie would be the most appropriate.
Tryrion certainly deserves a face to face before the series is over.
I don't know about telegraphed but a bunch of us predicted Varys to Dorne as his logical next stop last week. That prediction wasn't really eyebrow raising. Two hours ago they were predictions, now they're spoilers. Also conveniently dropped out of explaining how Varys was telegraphed.
Whoa whoa whoa guy!Per the prophecy. One of her little brothers will choke her out
see I don't even know who tommen is/was. is this just one of those shows that's hard to jump in on in the middle?
She could have packed it in dry ice in Braavos and traveled with it.we touched on Arya and the faces... does she have to kill somebody to get a face (like how she did with the waif)? if so- she's seemingly killing strangers (not on the list) to push her agenda. girlfriend gone bad.
I was hoping for more firefighting scenes. Always wondered how that worked in Kings Landing and abroad.![]()
really would have worked better if they had done it like that.
Per the prophecy. One of her little brothers will choke her out
you, ser, are a scholar and gentleman!I just spoiled a prophesy in my underpants. [/jtg]
Did this particular shot remind anyone of anything? The shot where Tommen watches the Sept burn then walks away - the framing of that shot (centered on burning building - symmetrical with the columns and intricate shades of the castle's windows) and it stayed there for like 5 seconds - I honestly thought my hbogo froze... You never see cinematic pacing like that in Tv shows.
Are you basing that on any evidence, cause just a few episodes ago she refused to kill an innocent even at the risk of her own life.To get to Frey, I think she would.
See, I was thinking exactly the opposite. It struck me that time HAD passed because the baby WAS a toddler.I think I read somewhere that this is all and good, but if so much time really has passed, then why isn't Gilly's baby a toddler yet?
Wes Andersons style.Did this particular shot remind anyone of anything?
Lots of people that have seen every episode don't even know what's going on. I can't imagine following the show by just jumping in at any point. Especially in that it's ruining what might be the best tv show ever made.![]()
Reminds me of a friend who joined us for a GOT watch last night. This was her first time watching the show. She started to ask questions and I was like don't do this.
I was trying to remember where I heard that story- you posted it in here recently, right?Bran tells the story of The Rat Cook. Fairly relevant now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VV5txCNDco0
Oh yeah, they weren't letting her leave. Are we even sure Margaery is dead?
I was expecting a rat to run across the balcony Scorsese-style.Did this particular shot remind anyone of anything?
Nah, then he would have had actually contributed something.Tommen should've done a double pike, just for the shtick.
I was thinking this exact same thing.can dragons swim like ducks and land/float on the water? or will they have to fly all the way to westeros... or perch on one of the boats to rest?
Finders keepers.Does Cersei have any legitimate claim to the throne?
I figure the fleet's not going to be that far away from land, the Dragons will probably have to return to land to feed/sleep and then catch up.James Daulton said:I was thinking this exact same thing.
And if they have to hang out in the water to rest, do they have to worry about sharks? But they have fire, so they can burn the sharks, but the sharks are in water that will put the fire out.
So many unanswered questions!

First time I posted it. Someone else may have though. Tough to keep track.El Floppo said:I was trying to remember where I heard that story- you posted it in here recently, right?
Everyone else is dead. Who else could make the claim?Bob Sacamano said:Finders keepers. The Indestructible said:Does Cersei have any legitimate claim to the throne?
Terrible episode, right KP?KarmaPolice said:I was expecting a rat to run across the balcony Scorsese-style.
The Lannisters don't generally pay any attention to the rules of successionThe Indestructible said:Does Cersei have any legitimate claim to the throne?
I'd imagine they will stop at a few spots along the way to kill some time in the show as well as a few uncle who think that women aren't fit to rule!I figure the fleet's not going to be that far away from land, the Dragons will probably have to return to land to feed/sleep and then catch up.
- fleet nearly smashes into Gendry in his row-boat, who quickly weds Dany.El Floppo said:Yeah... just amazing, top to bottom.
Possible hubbies for Dany:
- obviously Jon
- Jamie
- Tyrion
- Bran
- greyjoy uncle
- bear island girl![]()
