Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (5 Viewers)

Started rewatching a few of my favorite episodes in the past few days gearing up for the new season...  battle of the bastards, hardhome, blackwater bay, watchers on the wall, viper and the Mountain, etc...  I kinda nitpick at things here and there.  Like Battle of Bastards is awesome, but the big mosh pit of dead bodies is a little strange to me.  Blackwater Bay is pretty good, but a few parts are a little off / corny.

Anyway, after rewatches I can say without a doubt that Hardhome is the best battle and is on par or better than anything Hollywood has ever put out. I'd put that 30 mins up against any movie.  It's incredibly well shot, there's no cheese-factor, high production value, etc... perfect.

so, in a breach of promise to my gf, i went and started season three last night without her 

man, do i love the Lannisters - and they are a most unlovable lot, but ... as was touched on in the Sophie Turner thread, it's a testament to Headey and Dinklage, who are both just soooo ####### damn perfect in their roles - found myself openly cheering for them during the siege of Stanis a couple episodes ago ... just loving them both so much thus far - want them to stick around so i can keep enjoying two great performers at the top of their game. 

even dig the King Slayer - a most pompous heel, but a very complex (and necessary) character.

and Pops? damn, did he dress down the Imp last night.  absolutely brutal. that dude oooooozes Royal hubris.

 Cersei just continues to captivate me with her beauty and steeliness and aloofness and vulnerability and regal bearing - 

the Imp is an amazing character study ... so much like Cersei, but so much less insulated. Dinklage is beyond spectacular.

yep, even Joffrey - a miserable lil' pr!ck, but that kid is acting his ### off, and is (like his father) a very crucial foil and villain. chews up every scene they give him ... love to hate, but, love ... nonetheless.

Margorie pulling a Princess Di?  cunning cookie getting her feet soaked in #### to endear herself to the commoners. 

that family makes the show thus far, imo ... much more interesting than the Starks - i love me some nefarious treachery over the nobility and honor day of the week.

was surprised Davos survived that encounter with the red W(B)itch ... but something tells me he'll be the one left standing when all is said and done.

Khaleesi's coming ... can't wait!  DRAGON FISH FRY!   if she brings that army ...  

oh, and if all that wasn't enough ... we have the doings beyond the wall - wtfff?      starting to really dig the Snow kid - dunno how this is all gonna shake out, but would love to see him commandeer that lot and make his own mark on the landscape    oh, and he's gotta bag that redhead sometime soon, please 

and shoutouts to Varys and Baelish

I just binge watched all 6 seasons in about 3 weeks. What a show! My thoughts:

- More dragon queen #### please.

- Sam and his dim girlfriend need to just go the #### away.

- Aria is the best storyline in the show, with Tywin and The Hound a close second.

He's been in the show and with the framing sword to I think . He had a fight with the hound and was killed and brought back to life by that skinny bearded priest who is like the red woman. He's a special guy. Band of brothers is his group I think.

Just to address the re-watching aspect it's amazing how much you can pick up that you missed the first time around. Or maybe it's just me not being as attentive a viewer as I think I am. But I've been re-watching some earlier seasons to get prepped for the next one and there have been a bunch of things I just missed watching everything the first time. So much depth and so many layers on this show.

she is also at a big advantage because i can tell her when to pay attention - #### is gonna get real in a nano second!!!

it's all so sprawling and majestic and ginormously addictive - but, once 7 starts, i'm outta here 'til i properly catch up.

On a show filled with incredible and fascinating characters Varys is one of the most fascinating. I wasn't sure of his motivations in Season 1 but I think he saw something in Tyrion as acting hand in Season 2 that led him on the path he's now seemingly fully committed to.

I don't think he's sinister. I think his love for Dany is what drives him. That and his belief that by supporting her and doing all for her he can redeem himself for his past transgressions.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite season. All are great. But yeah those two are damn good. If Tyrion is your favorite character Seasons 2-4 are epic. Dinklage was well deserving of all the awards he won during that time.

she cried during the scene when horse face unwraps the Imp's bandages, and they pledge their love - i ribbed her a tad for that, but then i was all like    later on when they lopped the King Slayer's hand - what can i say, big Lannister fan here  

disappointed Khaleesi forked over a Dragon   - and, with the obvious lack of any of 'our' gods being referenced, it was interesting to see the columns of the crucified.  pretty stark ####.

so much going on ... sensory overload here.
