People are #####ing about this episode? Damn. I thought it was great
Varys going toe-to-toe with Dany was a terrific scene. I think that's the first time we've seen them really interact and neither held back. Dany correctly calling out Varys for his duplicity in the past and Varys telling her why he did it and who he truly cares about. All the while Tyrion trying to place peacemaker. That was really well done by three terrific actors.
Looks like Prince Oberon was wrong about the Unsullied - they are impressive in the bedroom. Right Missandei?
Loved how Arya's reunion with Nymeria was bittersweet. Neither are the same and they can't just slide back into the roles they once had. Possible foreshadowing for when Arya returns to Winterfell and how dramatically she's changed since she left.
Also liked seeing Hot Pie again. Not only did it clearly show much Arya has changed since they last met but it also allowed her to make a joke about how she's made a pie which, of course, was baking Walder Frey's sons into a meat pie. Arya is one sick, twisted girl and I

her for that.
I'm totally OK with an hour-long episode of Jon choking Little Finger. Maybe a few of them.
I guessed wrong on the gift Euron was getting for Cersei. I thought it would be Tyrion. Turns out it was revenge for Myrcella after all.
Theon's turn at the end was keeping in character. Keep in mind he'd always been a pretender. Pretending to be a Stark, pretending to be strong. When push comes to shove he's weak and that's what we saw when confronted by Euron and his sister's life in the balance. Theon was Theon in that moment.
I love the pace we're seeing. Euron meets with Cersei and promises her a gift and in the next episode he gets it. Most of us probably want to see the inevitable Dany-Jon meeting but they're not rushing that one which I also like. Plus, Dany's going Full Queen with Jon, wanting him to bend the knee when he arrives. That outta go over real well.
