I think it was the Kingslayer who said that the Greyjoys and everybody from the Iron Islands are untrustworthy and pretty much suck.

Other dragons died fighting each other typically.  

Something changed over time in the dragon breeding where they stopped growing big.  Towards the end they grew no bigger than cats until they became extinct.

Tyrion explains that dragons don't do well in captivity so he let them out of their neck chains while Danny was away. Then they started to get bigger but the big one is still bigger than the two little ones

I said last week it's going to be very difficult to make Euron into the type of villain Tywin, Joffrey or Ramsay were. There just isn't enough time. All of those others had numerous seasons to build up how we felt about them and those seasons added several layers to the characters. No time to do that with Euron so I'm just hoping he's enjoyable to watch. So far so good there.

Ramsay sucked as a character. Loved rooting against him but he was a cartoon villain with no real depth or dimension. Just a monster with no redeeming qualities. I'm sure there are people like that in real life but he wasn't nearly as interesting as a Joeffry imo.

I think we are starting to see facets of her personality that will come to the forefront any time a person tries to assume power.  But I have not seen anything yet that indicates she is going crazy even in the slightest.

Perhaps that is where the writers want her to end up but I think they are setting things up that she follow Aegon's path more than Aerys path.

Yes Dany has a different tone since she landed but shouldn't she? She was vetted in Mereen and the path that lead her there. Now she's on home turf and needs to step up her game. My guess is the soft side of Dany is gone until you see her on the throne. She has to go full on ##### mode to compete with the other ##### in Kings Landing. I like it and would expect it.

Was it to show Arya that she needs to head home and join the pack?  Was it to show Arya shouldn't head home because she's no longer a wolf/Stark? Or was it so we weren't surprised when Nymeria and a pack of wolves come in at the last moment to saver her in episode 6?

I think this is where Arya turns back towards King's Landing to finish the job.  She isn't the same, things aren't the same.  Going home to Winterfell won't make everything alright again.

I think Dany's "bend the knee" comment was a direct link to Aegon.  Aegon was said to be extremely harsh to his enemies but just as extremely generous to anyone that bent the knee.

During Tyrion's speech on how they intended to organize the battle, he referred to the "Martell army" and the "Dornish army" as separate entities.  Should they be one in the same?

the edits were very fast but I believe that was a sister who was fighting another guy not Uron when they showed the stabbing in the balls.

It was another character that got stabbed in the balls but he definitely took some pretty serious looking wounds.

Was just going to post the same reply before I seen yours. Like NR said it had to be someone else, I was starting to think Euron was going to die after I thought he took one to the groin. Even if that wasn't him, seems like he took quite a few knife hits. I think. .

No way, loved it. Establishes Euron as a total badass, Samwell is doing great things in Oldtown, and we have a Queen in the North.

Only thing I didn't like was the Nymeria scene (LOVED the Hot Pie scene though). My guess is GRRM had a lot planned for Arya in the Riverlands, possibly even spending time in the pack. But the showrunners have to cut stuff out and the direwolves cost a lot to use in episodes.

I understand the costs involved but it makes sense that Ghost and/or Nymeria play a role at some point in all this. The direwolves have been given so much importance since the first episode. I'd be surprised if they didn't play a key role in the story before it ends.

Dont think so.... I think that scene was about Arya. Watching the after comments from the show runners kind of confirmed it. The key to that scene is Arya saying "That isnt you"

So Euron sails south, grabs the snakes, turns around and back to KL.  Seems an inefficient use of naval resources.  Now Tyrell and friends lay siege to the south of KL while Dany makes it around the other side of the world in half an episode?  CR is way off to the west right?  That's way closer to the north than KL correct?   Sort of over by the freys?  Forgive my lack of Westeros geography for a moment.

So what I'm getting at is what naval force exactly do we think Euron took out?  There wasn't any real plan to send Dany's army by sea anywhere but CL which is the other direction, so who were the sand snakes traveling with and where?  Were they simply alone?  The scenes would imply there was a large navy? But who and for what purpose?  It's clearly not the navy going to CR as they already previewed it as a win for Dany.

The Comic-Con trailer shown this past Friday confirmed it. It showed a scene from next week's episode with Cersei and Euron and you can see who his prisoners are.

That's part of the problem. The apparent meat of the story isn't all that interesting. Dany and Jon are 2 of the most bland characters on the show. They are awesome when there is action (Battle of the Bastards, Hardhomme, torching slavers, flying on a dragon, etc) but when they are just leading or talking with others, they tend to be pretty boring. Some of dialogue explaining about Jon Snow to Dany and Dany to Jon Snow almost sounded like they were reading off a wikipedia page summary of events. 

Also what do we think the point of the reunion with Nymeria was? I thought it was to show that she isn't who she was anymore......but I thought it was redundant with the Hot Pie scene in which it seems like they were showing us that she isn't who she was anymore.

I thought the greyjoy fleet were going to Dorne to get their army to attack KL. now wihtout that fleet, Dorne can't attack... I think?
