Game Thread - Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers (1 Viewer)

News: The Ravens didn't list RB Willis McGahee as inactive Week 4, meaning he'll suit up and play at Pittsburgh. He missed some practice this week with a cut on his eyelid and was listed as probable going into the game.

Is McGahee active? Do we know if he's going to play much?
I just got on the elevator with running back Willis McGahee at the team hotel this morning. The swelling in his eye looks like it is completely gone, but it's still dark red. McGahee seemed to be in great spirits, and I assume he will try to play. At least he didn't have on sunglasses like last week when the eye was swollen and nearly shut. On the 17 floors up, McGahee was laughing and joking around with teammates.

As a Browns fan that has seen both clubs, I think it really comes down to the quarterback. I don't expect much from Flacco. Ben is better. Leftwich is better. The only scenario where I feel comfortable picking the Ravens is if Ben is not playing well due to injury but not taken out of the game. I think sooner or later the Ravens are going to need Flacco to make a big play and he just is not ready to deliver.

Oh man, those ugly uniforms again. Why do they bother with this? What's wrong with the normal, which is so classic?

I agree, the marketing fu fus behind this idiocy should be taken out back and shot.I mean it's ONLY a home divisional rivalry Monday night game. Not like it means anything...Why don't they ever wear these crap uniforms on the road? If I paid for a ticket I'd be LIVID!

I am predicting a Ravens win here. I traded Hines last week because I see this team falling hard and fast. I hope it does not return to bite me in the ###. :fishy:

What is the deal with all the guys getting carried off on stretchers lately? Are they just more careful now, or are guys just getting these kind of injuries more often? It's scary.

It's the speed of the game. These guys just keep getting faster and faster. Bad injuries are inevitable.

Who is that?
LB Frazier  Did they show a replay? I'm also watching Chuck.
BOO
Chuck is quality programming. :hot:
Yep. It will be DVR'ed in 2 hours

Hines Ward is as much fun to watch as any player in the NFL. If he's not the best blocking WR since WR's started catching passes, he's in the discussion.

Is anyone else getting a ridiculously thick bottom score line? The red-black fade bar on the bottom is ridiculously thick. Valuable screen space is being taken up.

how did mason not think that was closer to a td than it was? if that gets reviewed, it's a td.
