This might be nit-picking, but I wouldn't use the last timeout right here like the Redskins just did. Suppose they miss the FG? There's 9 minutes left.

A TD will cure that, though. Or a FG.

39-yard FG and Redskins win.

I think the Dolphins used their TO to get some wind and to ice the kicker

Gibbs is foolish to kick it now.
"Well that's why Joe Gibbs is in the Hall of Fame, I guess."
Gibbs is in the HOF.That kind of call is not why. That kind of outcome, maybe. What is the true risk of running the ball on first down with the way Portis was running? Is the risk of fumbling greater than the risk of missing a 40-yard FG? Anyway, making the 40 yarder moots the discussion.

Sweet. F you Cam Cameron.
:popcorn:I have the feeling that this year will really separate the men from the boys in 'phin fan-land. If you can cheer for the team while that guy is destroying it, you are a true fan.Today should hurt a bit more than it dows, but I'm still gung-ho Go Phins!

Kinda hard to get excited about a team that is playing so crappy. Does cheering mediocrity make one a "true fan"?

Gibbs just said he's lost a couple games the last couple years by pushing forward and not having a good shot at a FG. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure what he's referring to, but that's why he kicked it early.

As a Portis owner, I would have loved to see another carry or two. :censored:

Based on research, Jansen should be out 6 weeks. It looked terrible and the guy weighs 320, so I've got to think it'll need a cast ... see below.

Surprisingly, whoever subbed for him did really good.

How is it treated?

An ankle dislocation requires urgent treatment to avoid permanent damage to nerves and blood vessels, which can be pinched between bones.

Treatment depends on the severity of the injury. Severe injuries may require surgery to repair the joint.

After correcting the dislocation, the doctor will put a fiberglass cast, splint, or air cast on your ankle so that it will heal in its proper place. If you have surgery, the doctor may place you in a cast for about 6 weeks.
