Game Thread - NE @ NYJ (1 Viewer)

Right ankle got twisted pretty badly...

Had to hop off, couldn't out any pressure on it...

Clemens in, crowd cheers, Simms and Nantz are disgusted..,.

:excited:

and the clemens era has begun. That looked like chad's last snap as a jet.

edit: and yes, that was a horrible reaction. glad im not there today

Another long pass to Moss, this time a comebacker in the middle of the field.

Maroney short run, Kevin Faulk with a nice reception here for a first down, Maroney picks up another five.

Jets defensive strategy appears to be "don't give up running yards at all costs".... And Brady is picking them apart.

And a bomb to Moss, he walks into the endzone. 157 yards receiving and a 51 yard TD. Wow.

Those who took Moss as their WR2 for greater and greater value as the season drew near will be very psyched this year. I sloughed off Moss b/c I had selected him in three leagues already, but he was insane value the last week or so

That was what I was expecting to see on all the Pats drives during the first half. They have Stallworth, Moss, and 3-4 minutes to get the ball downfield each play. The Patriots may end up being disgustingly good once the season gets going.

May god have mercy on the rest of the NFL... this Pats team might not lose a game all year.

Un-#######-real.

a tad premature...also, Chad has looked pretty solid today. Anyone who has Coles or, in particular, Cotchery should hope he's ok as nobody else has had a sniff today apart from a couple of dump-offs to Washington. The #3 WR and TE are non-factors in NY which bumps the two starting WRs considerably.

I know it's early, but they look extremely good. and like someone said, this is without Harrison & Seymour. Scary.

Pennington looks a little woobly out there but he's doing a great job on this drive. He's so underrated by New York fans it's not funny.

Man, I'm obviously not rooting for the Jets here, but good for Pennington, coming back in and passing 4 for 5 for 40ish yards and a TD on the next drive after the injury, even attempting a goal line QB sneak on first down, and leading them for a score. He's got "it".
