Just asking myself the same thing.. throwing on 2nd and 3rd down when you have Peterson and bad run defense? Still got ball into Rice but geez why even risk having to kick a FG?Your at the 3 yard line. Why throw the ball?!?
Considering the Packers seemed scared to tackle Peterson, weird play-calling, but it worked.Your at the 3 yard line. Why throw the ball?!?
The one thing has has looked very impressive since he came into the league are those short red zone lob throws. He knows how to position his body. I agree we should have ran, but Rice in single coverage is a nice option.Just asking myself the same thing.. throwing on 2nd and 3rd down when you have Peterson and bad run defense? If only they'd stick to the gameplan. They're avoiding Charles Woodson in the passing game- picking on T. Williams.
on the replay it looked like Gus considered him covered and looked away to pass just as Adrian got loose. On the interception - they split Petterson out wide and he ran by Bigby but Gus didn't pull the trigger - why?
watI don't get why MN doesn't run more sweeps with Peterson. He doesn't often gain a lot right up the middle.
I don't know what you expect from Harris...NOT to get called? That's part of the reason Green Bay has the most penalties in the league. Atleast Clifton isn't holding Allen so much since they decided to give him some help.OK I'll say it, the call on Harris was terrible. I am switching games.
Ever since a season worst performance against the Saints, Peterson has looked renewed. I hope the rest of the team can follow his lead.:horns:What a run by Peterson. Only 10 yards but quite impressive.
Are you kidding me? He was run into and pushed.Dude take your blinders offI don't know what you expect from Harris...NOT to get called? I think he's looking at a 150+ yard performance.Ever since a season worst performance against the Saints, Peterson has looked renewed. I hope the rest of the team can follow his lead.:horns:What a run by Peterson. Only 10 yards but quite impressive.
Crazy given how old his leg is, but he definitely benefits from the dome.54 yards for Longwell. Plenty of power and distance. Would have been good from 58-60. He's the MVP of the Vikings.
There is no way that Allen would not have made the tackle at the LOS if he weren't grabbed at the knee like that, though. It's one thing to get great runs when everybody's blocked up, another when people are tied to the ground.Grant has regained his old form. He finally looks healthy. Great run on the left side which was called back for holding.
Did the pass look ugly? Yes, it did. Was it illegal? No, it was not.Rodgers fumbled the ball in the endzone, picked it up and threw it underhand it to no one as he was falling to the ground. SAFETY!
You're kidding right? That's a horrible call. What is illegal about underhanded passes right at the tight end?
There was no one near that ball. That's a horrible call. What is illegal about underhanded passes right at the tight end?

Don't care either way but the ball was close to a TE. How is that Intentional Grounding?Calls seem fishy this week (that's a 20,000 fine)I clearly don't need to help keep the game notes going. You all are much too quick for me.
Can you pass after recovering your own fumble? I guess you hardly ever see that. It was clearly a desperation toss and a good call...more of an illegal forward fumble out of the endzone. That's a horrible call. What is illegal about underhanded passes right at the tight end?
