You know what I mean. The kickoff return had given the momentum back to Minnesota and that bad call gave it right back to the Giants. I should point out, too, that I have little rooting interest in this game, but I just hate seeing a bad call like that change the pace/momentum of a game. The Giants were out of the game?Tool is a good description of him. And the horrible call results in the Giants getting back in the game. But did you hear this tool announcing? He said Winfield had no business complaining. He said #26 went RIGHT through Burress to get to the ball. That was a horrible pass interference call.![]()

Giants score a TD, down 2. Go for the XP instead of the 2.
My back hurt just thinking about that. The announcer said that Tiki can squat 900 lbs

When Chuck Norris plays Oregon Trail his family does not die from cholera or dysentery, but rather roundhouse kicks to the face. He also requires no wagon, since he carries the oxen, axels, and buffalo meat on his back. He always makes it to Oregon before you.The announcer said that Tiki can squat 900 lbs
Yea was agreeing with ya, confused about the non attempt. Should've explained myself a little more.Giants score a TD, down 2. Go for the XP instead of the 2.
I think you mean Vin Diesel? When Chuck Norris plays Oregon Trail his family does not die from cholera or dysentery, but rather roundhouse kicks to the face. Too early to go for two? So what's the difference with being down by 1 or 2 at this point in the game? Would make more sense to go for it earlier. It is too early to go for 2. Any NFL coach with a brain SHOULD know that. That, of course, means, if the score had been reversed, Tice would have gone for 2.![]()
I hope you were joking. When you are down two points, especially in the 2nd half, you go for two points. It is too early to go for 2. Any NFL coach with a brain SHOULD know that. That, of course, means, if the score had been reversed, Tice would have gone for 2.![]()
Okay.It is simple. You don't chase the points. It is still early in the 3rd quarter. Ask any knowledgeable NFL analyst or coach and they will tell you the same thing.

ding ding ding ding1 point does nothing for you there - down by 1 or down by 2 - both overcome by a FG, versus the chance to be tied.I hope you were joking. When you are down two points, especially in the 2nd half, you go for two points. It is too early to go for 2. Vikes have been reading their press. Doubled and tripled Shockey all game long.Screen plays against the Giants have been lousy. The talk all week was how Jeremy Shockey is going to kill Minnesota. Haven't they given up a TD to a TE in like every game this season?
Shockey: 1catch for 12 yards. :X
And possibly tearing up his MCL, ACL, etc.?!?LMFAO@Tice being bowled over.
And also don't forget if the Vikes score another TD they are down 16 and then if the Vikes score another TD they are down 35-12.OK, let's say they didn't get the two-point conversion and that TD by Taylor had counted (which it should have)...the score then would have been 21-12. In other words, the Giants would have then been behind by two scores. Like I said, you don't go for two until you absolutely have to.

What if they make the 2, the score is tied and the Vikings don't get that TD. It's a tie ####### score. You're right. If that was a player he'd be on the cart and headed to the locker room.I miss the helmets they used to drive - stupid generic carts. And possibly tearing up his MCL, ACL, etc.?!?LMFAO@Tice being bowled over.

Right, but again, the odds are against you converting a two-point conversion (although against the Vikings, it is probably higherOK, let's say they didn't get the two-point conversion and that TD by Taylor had counted (which it should have)...the score then would have been 21-12. I knew there was a scenario like this, I just couldn't think of it. Makes sense, although they'd still need to 2-pt at some point to tie.OK, let's say they didn't get the two-point conversion and that TD by Taylor had counted (which it should have)...the score then would have been 21-12.
