Game Thread W10 - San Diego V Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

5 touches for one of the best players in football should cost Shotty his job not just this game!
Best player or not, they are down by 21, cut down early by a penalty and are forced to throw because they are stacking the box. There's little LT can do today.
:goodposting:
Sweet, your hindsight is 20/20. Now move along. I wasn't bashing LT. I was saying that at the time, it looked like Cincy would run away with the game. I was also explaining why he only had a few touches to that point.

LT is a closer.I think he's earned the right to be called just LT and not LT2.
I like the guy, but no. LT changed the concept of "Defense".
guy was coked up when he played...Tominlison = LT
I am guessing you were too young to appreciate watching LT play.
No i watched him play but when a guy is coked up during most of his career DURING games..compared to a guy who is clean as a whistle at a much more difficult position..its safe to say tomlinson is LT and LT is just taylorback on topic...was gates covered all day or something?

Not to defend McRee because he did leave his feet, but I dont think he led with his helmet, more his shoulder. The worst of it was when Housh got kneed in the head by the LB coming into the play

"LT" is a crappy nickname for anyone. He deserves something much better. All nicknames that are just slight derivatives of the actual name are lame.
ie almost every nickname used in the NFL today. At least it's not flaming like the ones where you take the first initial of the first name and first few letters or first syllable of the last. PS that guy wasn't ejected? Unbelievable. I've seen ejections for less.

You guys are letting that idiot Dierdorf influence you. Mcree didn't hit him in the head, nor did he hit him with his helmet. It was a shoulder to shoulder hit. Housh got hurt when he was going down and his head and neck got hit by Godfrey's leg. It was an early hit, but that's all.

Sad thing is if the ball had been there (and it was only a second later) then it would have been a highlight reel "hit" and everyone in TV land would be cooing about how great it was.

For hitting him early? It was definitely a penalty, but no way does he get ejected. TJ took the concussion when his head hit the knee of the other Charger.

clean hit with his shoulder... quit listening to the anouncer. He doesnt know what hes' talking about.Clean hit
Even if it wasn't helmet to helmet, he the defender got there way before the ball. I hate TJH as much nearly any player in the NFL, but that was a crazy cheap shot
