1-10-DEN20 (14:55) R.Smith sacked at DEN 9 for -11 yards (sack split by E.Hicks and S.Knight). R.Smith lined up to the left, went in motion to the right, took handoff from J.Plummer to the right and was sacked.
Should be -11 rushing yards and not a sack

 QB is the only position that gets sacked, right?Or is it when the ball carrier is looking to pass, but gets tackled? IOW, is it possible, on a trick play, to have Rod (or ARE, or M Jones, etc.) actually be sacked?

It is possible.Brian Westbrook got sacked last week.

Now, I'm awake from my NyQuil induced haze. Good game I missed :)

Hey, see what happens when you give LJ the ball for the first time in 90 minutes!

That call on Lynch has to be one of the worse calls I have ever seen. If you are going to call it one way you better call it on the other team as well.

Well, glad the refs gave them the call on the one... "Oh, our helmets hit a bit"That was a Lynch reputation call. But he needs to know better than to put his offense at 15 yard disadvantage like that.

Terrible ####### call.  Let the players ####### play football.  ####.

#### these ####### officials.
Cummon ... I am not watching. DO more then vent, gimme details!
Sorry. I am pissed. There was helmet to helmet contact, but it was pretty much indidental. By no means did Lynch lead with his helmet.

He went helmet to helmet on Kennison on an overthrown ball over the middle. Then he got in the refs face the next play. If you lead a hit on a defenseless receiver with the top of your helmet in his facemask right in the middle of the field you are going to get called.Edit: I agree with ThatGuy and I don't think it was intentional, but it was a penalty nonetheless.

Helmets hit all the time. He led with his shoulder pads. Them's the facts. Bad call. #### the officials. They suck.

Lynch was certainly frustrated from the previous call. Lynch is a vet he should have at least been able to plead his case without a penalty.

It looked like he touched the refs nose with his face mask

And you could call that on almost every big hit.

What gets me about that call is that if you watch it again--he hits with his arms first (I have it recorded and watched it over) so that helmet to helmet happens after he pushes him with the arm contact.I just hate to see a game as good as this be changed by an official's call.I hate KC as much as the next Bronco fan, but their team is good enough to beat us without the official's help. Let the players play.

I missed that..BTW cool name.

That was about as generous a spot as I've ever seen. They can challenge right? Would seem to ne a no-brainer. He got damn near a half a yard.

Lucky spot for the Broncos. Chiefs deserved that stop. Hopefully the Broncos do not benefit from that gift. Can they challenge the spot?
