Game Thread W15 - NY Jets V New England (1 Viewer)

For what it's worth, I'm 20 miles south of Foxboro and it is now raining. The WC still shows snow in Foxboro, but that is bound to change shortly. Of much more significance is the absence of high winds. Add to that, a large dry area seems to be moving in from southwest to northeast. I'm no meteorologist, but I can read radar on a map and it looks like this precip may shut off at or around gametime.

I'll maintain updates up until kickoff.

THANKS Mr. Pink...updates would be awesome. Trying to decide if I should play Brady or go with Hasselbeck. But your report is encouraging.

Kudos to Mangini on his job last year because apparently I'm still giving him credit for that and dismissing this horrible season. I am concerned about his D schemes and just how he'll combat the Pats potent offense.

If the Pats can keep Coles under wraps and watch Cotchery breaking deep they should win this handily.

Prediction-Leon Washington will be unveiled like a secret weapon and Jets fans will be barking about where he's been all year.

That's not what he said.

As expected, it is now raining lightly in Foxboro. Winds are around 15 mph. It still looks like a let-up in the precip should happen during the game...possibly by halftime. Not making suggestions on who to start here. Just giving reports from the area.

Trade bait?Good luck Jets fans.

Leon Washington is a tremendous young football player. That guy scares me a little. Id agree that he's an 'x-factor' player today for the Jets.

A few nuggets from warmups:

# Eugene Wilson lined up with the first unit at safety alongside Rodney Harrison.

# OT Ryan O'Callaghan took some snaps at guard with the second unit, as it looks like he would get the call in the event of an injury to one of the team's guards.

# Receivers caught a lot of passes with their body, as it appears getting a handle on the slick ball was a challenge.

Conditions aren't terrible. I live an hour away and it could be a different story there but could be good enough weather today for many short passes. Good from a PPR standpoint.

Love the fans throwing snowballs in the air. Remniscent of the Miami game a few years back. 7 points/5 minutes is pace for 84 for the game.

NICE! INT for TD for Pats. Clemens looked shaky. Just hit pretty hard by Seymour. He got up and walked off on his power but was down for 15 sec or so.

botched option just now to washington on 2nd. pennington in on following play, nice toss to cotchery and nice catch. 4th down and 2, smith comes back in and throws it behind baker. pats start around the 20 in their own territory. clemens headed to the locker room during the drive.
